Here is the problem : I have a file wih about 100 male archers argonians wih archer combat style, but I would like to change them all to female conjurer dark elves with NPCconjurer combat style, and change the editor ID from argonianxxx to darkelfxxx.

Is there any way oher than editing them one by one in the geck ? it is awully boring. Thanks for any suggestion.

No, and doing it manually will be even more tedious than you think. The Argonians and Khajiit use a different skeleton mesh than the other races, so you'd have to redirect that first. Then you could change the Argonians to Dark Elves. Trying to put a Dark Elf body on a beast race skeleton would probably crash the CS and almost definitely crash the game.

Then let's say I want to change 500 males bretons to male imperials. The problem in the tescs ( sorry or the mistake) is to open each NPC tab one by one, select race and class, rename, confirm the overwrite, reconfirm. just to do the same thing each time.
It is the job of a computer to execute trivial and repetitive tasks, I am supposed to be the beloved master, not the hack. Is there any utility to force this stupid machine to get to work ?

In fact I have imported all the NPC from some ancient mods but they have no race or class because they don't longer exist and I don't want them back, but I don't want to recreate 1500 NPC from scratch when I already have them with their AI, face, inventory, factions and all but just no race or class. They are all argonians but only because the TESCS didn't find the blackdemon race or the blackdemon class and it assigned a race and class by default. They don't even use the skeletonbeast.

Or alternatively, is there a way to change the race and class direcly during the importation ( I did it with TES4Edit, deep copy the whole non player character as new record in a new file) ?

Edit : I finally found a solution ! This silly computer will learn to obey to his lord and master.
/solved
