Bathing

Should players have to wash every now and then to keep their character clean? If you don't wash enough people's disposition might go down and it could be easier to get diseases! And in dirtier areas you could have to wash more often!

Realistic? Maybe.

But sounds like a chore to me. It won`t make it into the game (As hard as it is to believe, discussing things here won`t change a thing about the game) and players probably wouldn`t enjoy it.

Hmm. Maybe a bath could be an added option at an inn? Other than that I'm not sure it would be worthwhile, although it definitely makes sense in terms if disposition i don't want to worry too much about hygiene. and they would have to add animations and everything for being dirty.. I think certain areas containing more diseased animals/ people is sufficient to make the risks variable.

This would work great if they implemented a "hardcoe mode" type system where your character has to go to the bathroom every so often or else soil themselves, this could be the way to get rid of the "negative perks" such an "accident" would give your character.

Would a Khajiit then have to lick their butts?

No leave bathing out, unless your playing your precious "hardcoe" mode.

I believe we should also have to drink, and use the bathroom based on when we eat and drink, and how often, and wash our hands before eating, or we'll get a disease, and people can break into our house and steal our posessions anytime we are not there, and we should only be able to carry what we realistically could, and standing outside on a sunny day too long will give us sunburn, and standing in the cold too long will give us a cold, possibly pneumonia, and you can also get cancer, which you can never recover from due to lack of surgical technology and knowledge, and days should pass in real time, and you have no more strength than a real human, and no magic, and Skyrim should be the size of the USA.

I hear when the giant spider appears that some players need to get rid of "negative perks". Bathing is one of the things the 'realism' modders might add along with eating, sleeping ect. But is not to my taste

Y'know, I'm all for having to eat/drink, roleplaying a random peasant, ect.

But this is approaching insanity. TES is not The Sims. If you want to bathe, get your character naked and have him swim in a pool.

If bathing is in, does this mean we get to peek on some hot female Nord bathing? If yes, I'm sooo for it and I'll get master of Invisibility as soon as I can.

How lazy it is to not want to have to bathe regularly IN A GAME.

Well, ignoring these "hilarious" negative comments,

I'd have to say why not. I would actually love to be able to keep clean for +speechcraft.

I don't think we should suffer negatives for not washing (unless there are options), but we should get a bonus for washing. I don't see what the problem is with it. I guess it's because doesn't involving bashing monsters.

Well, there was a mod for it in Oblivion, so I'm sure there will be for Skyrim too.
