The Province of Skyrim and Nords seems to be based on the Northern Germanic Sea Faring Cultures (more commonly known as the Vikings).
they did not have indoor plumbing, as indoor plumbing did not become common use for a few hundred years later.
need to void your bladder? go to the bush out back.
need to cleanse your Bowels? we have a Tree for that.
On a Ship or don't wanna go outside? we have a bucket in the corner for that.
in the same basic era, if you needed to clean yourself off, we have a River a Kilometer out of town. this was also where one would wash their clothes.
I've stumbled on a few bathrooms.
Whaddya thinks those buckets are next to the little benches for?
Off the top of my mind, there are a few in Redwater Den in the druggie rooms.
A lot of random forts have them too.
There's also a pit where the Volkihar Cattle do their necessities in the prison.
INSTANT BAN!
Seriously, folks, you're going over the line here. Don't post anything that will make Little Billy's mum write a furious letter to the Community Manager about the Sick Filth On This Forum.
I'm not worried about NPCs but it's sad you can't sit on them once in a while.

Everyone knows you can't show actual humanoids pooping in games! It's common knowledge. There's a TV trope on this.
Exploding body parts , spilled guts and decapitation are okay, though.
I don't know who even wants to see that, but it's weird that doesn't allow humanoids just to sit on a bucket.
Bath houses would be so cool, have missions for the people who own them too, so you can get free access for completing them.
Yh, thats the life.
