I'll bet they'll both go GOTY as they're entirely different types of games Arkham Asylum
is a fantastic game as will be its predecessor, but the total amount of game time will be far less than Skyrim even if playing both in a row. Skyrim took
a lot longer to make, not to say AC will be tiny or anything. Skyrim and Arkham City will, no doubt, qualitatively be awesome. Quantitatively, however, Skyrim has the upper hand in that there is going to be so much more of it. Arkham City for PC will, at least from the onset, have an advantage graphically over Skyrim on PC as it is to utilize all the DX11 stuff, but I'm still hoping Skyrim will eventually utilize tessellation and whatnot as well. Thankfully there's enough room in this world (and my budget) for both games, but I can already guarantee I'll be spending a lot more time playing Skyrim.
It's good to be a gamer right now
