I think I've finished the meshes for the Catwoman's suit:

That's an interesting post Elanthil, but I'm sure you know the film suits are more like a high tech lightweight bullet-"proof" (ballistic) vest with full coverage. Which of your limbs are power-armoured? :lol: That reminds

In some of the comics and cartoons over the years, Batman has at times donned a suit that had circular hinges at the knees and ankles, possibly at the elbows too? (didnt' notice). particularly an episode I recall where he was doing something in a low gravity environment alongside Superman and others. The intent, I'm sure, was to project the image of a high tech space suit, but given the overall 'metal' effect of the suit, I came to the conclusion it's definately motor assisted, which is, really, all power armor is...heavy plating over a motor/pneumo/hydro assisted exoskeleton :)

I'm wracking my brain to try and remember if the above was in a comic or cartoon, but it's been a long, long time. I believe, actually, it was around the time Bizarro Supe was running amok or perhaps around the time they 'killed' Superman.

As to light weight...the suit used in the first movie certainly didn't look 'lightweight' to me, heh.

"Death of the Dark Knight" was, I think, the name of the one that I can think of that fits what you're describing. Probably more, but this is the one that I can think of (was more of a Marvel guy, than DC).

...when Batman picked a fight with Superman. Batman wore heavy power armor for that fight.

Along with the heavy sonic cannon that he had at the start of the fight... plugged into the city's power grid. One shot as Superman was flying in, and two things happened: Batman discarded the sonic cannon (after causing a blackout of several city blocks due to the power drain and subsequent overload), and Batman teased Superman for "A nose bleed? So early in the fight?"

I agree, the suit in the first film looks really heavy, but the one in the second film is lighter ;)

This is looking really cool, the catwoman suit I mean. All the little accessories are really intriguing.

Is the WIP Catwoman suit intended to be the female version of this, or a separate item? I'd like to see a Batgirl costume for the female version of the Batman suit, but as long as something is done to make it wearable and look good on a female character, I'll be happy.

Thanks, 3rd Type :) Some of them are quite intriguing to me, too :)

Hi Kristoffer, except for the female version of the batcape, that will be the same object than the original batcape, the other female items will be different objects because I won't give them exactly the same bonus that the batsuit has. For instance, I am thinking of giving the Catsuit less Damage resistance than the Batsuit but a Luck bonus (as suggested by Milt).
If I implemented the catsuit components as the female versions of the basuit components, they would have exactly the same bonus the batsuit has.

By lightweight I meant relatively of course, otherwise he'd just wear something like what they do in Iraq, those are heavy.

I found this mod on the FO3 Nexus and I was wandering if it is possible to put it into The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. If so, how would it be done? I would be glad to convert it myself or whatever you do.

That is, if it is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Wii, yes, it is possible. You'll need a tool like Blender to convert the meshes and the CS to change the way some of the weapons and bonus are implemented :)

Groovey. I will download Blender and try some stuff. However, I have never used Blender...
I can do re-textures though. Not that it helps.

Regardless, I will try.

Thanks!

There are lots of good tutorials for Blender, for instance:
* http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
* The modelling section of the CS Wiki: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page
* http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:Manual

Good luck! :)

Some pictures of the first tests in game. Don't look at the textures, they are only some dirty textures made just for testing the meshes:

I've just uploaded version 2.0 of the mod. This version adds the following:

* Added Catwoman suits plus four sets of chokers and earrings.
* Made a female version of the Batcape.
* Fixed problem with distortion in the hands after gliding in 1st person view.
* Changed spread values of blade batarangs to improve their hitting chance when used in VATS.
* Increased Action points required in VATS for explosive batarangs from 12 to 18.
* Reduced health of blade batarangs to 1,000.
* Increased health of all armour pieces to 1,000.
* Added a new unarmed weapon: the Batfist.
* Modified the speed bonus: now, if you have speed of 100 or higher, it will add 75 units to your speed.

If you find any issue, just tell me :)
