Batman suit

Armour so far looks great :goodjob:
If you want to expand this mod even more than the cape and the equipment then here's a suggestion, a Bat cave and Alfred!!!
But if you add that idea make it your last priority, anyway it's still great

Thanks for your encouraging words, Beggar Slayer :) I guess the most difficult part would be to add Alfred! ;)

Make a old man, give him http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Pre-War_Businesswear and then make him say lines from the films, or just give him the option of saying 'Sir?' when wntering dialoque the 'yes sir' for requests such as get me a drink or chem. I might be able to do that for you if you don't have the time

Yah, And I'm sure that there is a much cleaner suit mod out there, or someone that could help you build the batcave, The whole thing would be a great mod.

The computer thing would be the hardest to do In my opinion. Or maybe the trophy/gift room. Oh and the tumbler...Thats gonna be a bit of an issue.

Thanks for the offering, Beggar Slayer :) What I know is that I can't give Alfred my voice because I am a woman and he will sound really odd with a female's voice! :biglaugh: And the butler's in game are all robots, and that voice wouldn't suit him either. I actually think the whole batcave will be pretty difficult.

I have begun working on the cape and I have a question: Do you prefer a wide cape, one that almost wraps around his body, as shown in these pictures:

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d122/AsharaStark/WIPBatmancapefront.jpg

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d122/AsharaStark/WIPBatmancapeback.jpg

or would you prefer a narrower one?

Of course, when I test it in game it is possible that I have to make it narrower to avoid clipping, but right now I am interested in its general shape :)

Cape looks like it may need ingame experimentation.

?Gracias por los ?nimos, Nylon! :)

Beggar, I think content from the film is copyrighted and cannot be used in a mod ;)

EDITED:
I've narrowed it at the bottom and made it wider near the neck:

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d122/AsharaStark/WIPBatmancapeback-2.jpg

I think it looks better this way. I may narrow it a little more at the bottom and see if it looks better.

Well, Onyx, why not?
But don't get to impatient about him because I first have to finish the armour, then I'll try to make the batarangs and after that, if I am still playing Fallout, I'll see what I do next. :)

By the way, I've made a new version of the cape, and I think this way it looks much better:

You should do some quick renders with a standing pose or a simple running pose

Ashara

i dont know if im right in saying this but at the moment your just building the batman suit?.

is there any chance in a billion years that you could document the process of getting an armour suit ingame when you start that side of it. if you dont want to write it all down then press fraps or something.

i know its a lot of work doing tuts of sorts but im shure it wouldnt go without apretiation :)

Hi Jaypack, yes, I am actually making the batsuit. I wrote a tutorial in Spanish on how to create an armour for Fallout from scatch. It is here:

Part 1: http://videojuegos.clandlan.net/videojuegos/index.php/Tutorial_Crear_una_armadura

Part 2: http://videojuegos.clandlan.net/videojuegos/index.php/Tutorial_Crear_una_armadura_2

Maybe you can understand it doing a translation with some of the available tools like the ones Google has. It also has some pictures that can help you, too. If it is impossible to understand anything, tell me and I'll try to translate it :)

Its most likely possible that you could have a male voice actor do alfred's voice, and The idea of recreating the entire bat cave would require a team, because there's work required from all fields of specialty in a mod like that.

Some pictures from the first tests in game (don't look at the textures, they are some quick textures just for testing the meshes in game. They need a lot of work :) ):
