One thing I really disliked in previous TES games and especially Oblivion was the fact that even though I had been battered with a huge club or had 20 arrows protruding out of my chest I could still take a healthy jog once the battle was over!
Would you like to see your character showing the pain he's in after a battle, say limping or such like. Perhaps these effects lasted for a few minutes or even a few seconds, maybe until you rest up?
If it was an enormous injury say, where you had about 10 HP left whatever body part took the most damage would have permanent scarring , would be very hard to do but we can always dream.
Personally, I'm a big fan of a more survivalist playstyle, so I like it. For most people, this kind of thing is a bit excessive and will serve as more of an annoyance.
I think thats a good idea. I always thought it was strange in Oblivion that my character never noticed the arrows stuck in his chest. i think if you get shot in the chest you should fall over, be unable to fight and hope someone rescues you, if not you will die, just like real life

Oh god no. If you get hit once you die? [censored] that. I'm all for a limp or maybe some groaning but screw that noise. No offense.
I don't mind injuries, but I think they shouldn't be easily healable with a healing potion, because then we wont really get to see the limp, and it's a bit pointless to implement this stuff if it will be immediately cured.
Just my personal opinion, I am all for the idea but I would love to see a scaring system implemented (if possible). While Fable 2 is far from my favorite game, I loved the amount of scars I could be covered in, and it is something that I think would add a nice effect to oblivion. Especially with all 20+ arrows sticking out of your chest.
