Every week there is a new "Battle for the Ark". You're fighting in this week's battle. Everything will be wiped in 3 days and one hour.

I don't think everything will get wiped, though. I think that whether the Resistance or Security is controlling a territory is based on the win/loss ratio and that the percentages of who's controlling what will change based on that. Not that they'll reset. Maybe I read what you wrote wrong, though.

I don't know, though. I'm willing to bet that the percentages are persistent and that they will not reset to 50% or something like that.

It reminds me of the Theater of War from Endwar, but poorly implemented. For example you have to go to your PC to check on the Battle for the Ark stats instead of accessing through your game. Instead of having "freeplay" they should have built a "Battle for the Ark" system into the game so that people would play that beyond the campaign. With an active role where by your resistance character or security character would access different things for winning a weeks' war.

What is nice is seeing all that empty space and realizing that those are all going to be filled in with new maps.

Source? Serioulsy, no one ever said anything of the sort. We know of two additional maps that will be released with the first DLC, that is all we know at this point. That is unless you have a source that you would like to share with the rest of us.

Just a shame that almost everything EXCEPT the Theatre of War was poorly implemented in Endwar... Especially the DLC. "Hey, lets stick AA guns on one side's 'vulnerable to air attack' units! That's fair, right?"

It is not mentioned explicitly about the areas being filled in, but implicitly it makes a lot of sense and ifts with the trend of things. I wonder what kinda map will incorporate that bridge? Maybe it was the recon group trying to get to the reactor or scoping things out... I am sure there should be an amphitheatre somewhere, that should make for an interesting stage.... objective for being there... no clue... ambush during movie night?.

New DLC is actually called Agents of Change, you can read more about it in the first post of this forum(the one that shows updates and such). Just look there and you'll get more details content wise.

lol yea I hate those russian tanks with that upgrade. The DLC maps they didn't even incorporate into the TOW. Granted the TOW had some issues with frontlines and whatnot. But no game has really captured the spirit of the TOW besides Endwar.
