Richard said, "Yeah, the tension is killing me. He started getting more nervous as they got closer to the green light, its origin unknown.

Frank raised his laser rifle, spotting the glowing ghoul feasting on a dead mole rat. It was interesting to see something like that eat, but at the same time, disgusting. Frank moved a bit more when suddenly the glowing ghouls head exploded into millions of little pieces. The sound of the gun echoed through the whole tunnels, and suddenly moans echoed through the tunnels, making it impossible to see or hear where the moans were directly coming from.

"Stay alert, watch the rear." Frank said looking back at the squad. Suddenly a group of about ten or twelve Raiders walked into view, looking over the terminals balcony. Frank knelt down along with the rest of the squad. "Lights off!" Frank whispered urgently.

The raiders looked around, and heard the continuous moans as well and quickly got on their guard.

"You hear that, make sure your weapon's ready!" One of the raiders said looking at others out of view. Frank looked and listened. This was turning out to be the same like in the other metro tunnel. Suddenly a horde of more than 20 ghouls: Glowing Ones, Reavers, and others came running from another tunnel, just across from there's. The raiders began firing rapidly, shooting the ghouls that ran up the escalators.

"Get ready to fight, this isn't-" Frank was suddenly cut off with the roaring moan of a ghoul who had spotted them. "[censored]! Open fire!!" Frank said blasting the ghoul in the head turning him into ash. The squad began firing, taking targets along with Frank.

Chase stopped moving, instantly dropped into a crouch, and turned his light off when he saw the glowing one's head explode. That shot had to have come from somewhere, and considering where they were at, it had to be raiders. He moved forwards slowly, keeping low, until he saw the raiders. He took careful aim at one, but waited just in case. It wasn't always best to shoot raiders on sight. Sometimes they actually proved useful, and some even traded with a select few. Most of the time it was more beneficial to just leave them alone though. Live and let live, as it were.

Then the ghouls came. They rushed up the stairs as the raiders opened up, providing a perfect distraction for the squad to sneak by. Until one of the ghouls spotted them, and brought a bunch of his buddies with them. He diverted his aim to the nearest ghoul and took his shot, burning a hole straight through it's chest as it dropped, lifeless, to the ground.

"Let them fight it out as long as you can! The less we have to deal with, the better!"

Ryan dropped behind the nearest cover as soon as the shot that ended the glowing ones life rang out. He quickly scanned the surrounding area and found a group of 10-12 raiders just entering the metro. His adrenaline ran wild. He slowly rose his rifle and brought the scope to his eye, taking careful aim on the nearest raider. His trigger finger slid down to the trigger. He clenched his teeth as select images came back to him.

Suddenly, a pack of ghouls rushed the raiders, causing them to open fire...It was perfect. Ryans finger started to tighten.

He heard the moan of a ghoul.
"[censored]! Open fire!!"

Ryan quickly spun and popped a ghoul's head off that was nearly on top of him. He ejected the round and quickly slammed the bolt forward, aiming at anothers torso.

Hearing the weapon discharge, Layne would spot the ghouls approaching from they're rear fairly quickly, popping off a few controlled bursts into three of them. They went down instantly, but 5 more were approaching behind them. "Contact six o' clock!", he'd yell out before discarding an empty clip and reloading. 2 more ghouls would go down, so far it seemed he could stem the tide of ghouls approaching from their rear, but that could easily change.

Ryan hearing the gunshots, reared around and felt the vibrations as his minigun roared over all other sounds, his gun sent a hail of bullets to the ghouls, then to the raiders, and back to the ghouls, Ryan wasn't really sure if he was hitting anything, but it was worth a shot. "Hey! how am I doing? Did I hit anything?" Ryan felt the presence of a ghoul running up the rear and swung his 50 pound gatling gun around to smack the thing right in the ribs, cracking all of them and sending the fragile beast into the wall, "I didn't know i could do that. Yay for me!" Ryan turned around and continued his rain of 5mm rounds.

Chase took aim again, firing twice, and dropping two more ghouls with holes in their chest. When he heard the shout of contacts on their six, he spun around and shot again, taking the arm of a ghoul that was rushing towards them. He fired at it once more, and dropped it with a shot to the head, his laser shots temporarily lighting up stretches of the darkness. He spun around and took aim again at the sound of a minigun, and watched as Ryan swept all across the metro, drowning everyone in a hail of bullets, destroying a few ghouls and forcing a few raiders into cover.

"Real subtle Ryan! If those raiders didn't know we were here before, they do now!"

Frank reloaded his laser rifle as more and more ghouls began to flood into the metro. The raiders had kept the ghouls at bay on the balcony, but they were running low on ammo. Frank was barking orders to the squad, as a ghoul tried tackling him to the ground, but was quickly subdued when Frank drove his knife into its neck. The creature fell to the ground lifeless and still.

"Keep up the fire, this must be a portal to hell!" Frank said firing at more ghouls, turning them into ash or burning huge holes through them.

Frank started to the balcony, firing and bashing all the ghouls that got in his way. The raiders were now bashing the ghouls with their empty rifles as Frank began to make his way up the balcony. One of the raiders spotted Frank, and tried to shoot him. It was rediculous how dumb Raiders could be at times when they were fighting an equal enemy. Frank shot the Raider with his rifle, burning a large hole through his torso, sending him to be ghoul chow.

"HURRY!! UP THE ESCALATORS!!" Frank ordered to the squad as he pushed one raider off the balcony, and stabbed the other in the stomach. "Idiots!" Frank said as he threw the raiders body into the horde of ghouls. It was turning out to be like before, but much quicker. The ghouls began to crawl up the escalators, but were stopped by the squad shooting there way up. Frank gave them covering fire as they did.

Ryan didn't need a second order. he ran right behind The paladin as they ran up the escalators. One of the Raiders tried to take a shot at the Paladin, which was the last thing the raider ever did. Ryan Rushed up to one and bashed his rifle stock into one of their temples. He callapsed to the ground with a painfull grunt. Ryan raised his Rifle and brought it down with a war cry on the raiders head. He then spun and shot another raider in the stomach. He fell to the ground writhing in pain...as Ryan headed Back towards the squad he kicked the raider to the ground, leaving him for the ghouls. Ryan got back into cover near the squad and reloaded his rifle.

Richard was shooting at every Feral Ghoul he could see when he heard Paladin Webster give the order to run up the escalators. Richard obliged and ran up the escalator, bashing any Ghoul that got in his way. A Raider tried to shoot him with his Hunting Rifle, but Richard shot him in the head with his Laser Rifle and kicked the body to the Ghouls. He then shot another Raider in the chest, turning him into an ash pile as he got back to his squad and provided covering fire to the others.

Layne would rush up the escalator as he was commanded to, quickly shoving the butt of his rifle into the face of a filthy raider. Teeth and blood would fly everywhere as the fool fell to the ground, now begging for his life as raiders often did when they realized they were outmatched. Layne would simply lift one of his massive boots, and bring it down hard on the mans head, causing blood, skull fragments and brain matter to spray every which way. He'd then fire into the oncoming ghoul horde before running after Paladin Webster, firing behind him every few seconds to make sure they didn't catch up. "I'm gettin' a case of deja vu sir! Didn't we do this before?!"

Chase fired another shot from his rifle, dropping another ghoul that had made it way too close for comfort. He heard the Paladin's order, and rushed towards the escalators, backhanding the head right off another ghoul along the way. He climbed up the steps and shot a raider that was reloading when he reached the top. He aimed at a second that was switching targets towards him, but his rifle clicked empty. He cursed and pulled his knife out of it's sheath and threw it at the man right as he fired. The knife hit him in the chest and he dropped to his knees, his gun firing wildly. One of the stray bullets hit Chase in the arm as he ran up to him and kicked the gun from his hands, then brought the but of his rifle down on his neck with a sickening crack. He removed the knife from his body and spun around just in time to cut open the throat of another ghoul.

There were too many of the things. So many, in fact, that Chase couldn't even spend the time to reload. He sheathed his knife and pulled out his pistol, and fired three shots into another ghoul rushing up the stairs. It tumbled downwards, knocking a few of it's brethren over on the way.

As Ryan ran up the escalator there seemed a never ending line of ghouls so what Ryan did was he put i=his head down, then ran as fast as he could up, bull rushing the brittle zombies, "HaHa. this actually is working!" Ryan got to the top and started unloading on whatever he saw, "I better be hitting something right now."

Sorry to do this to all of you who have joined, but I'm unable at the moment to control an Rp. My work is keeping me busy, and I have little time for anything fun. So for the time, this Rp is paused. Sorry again, hopefully I can get my work done quick and continue it?

I know,I read it. Its just that when you leave something like this down for too long,it gets scrolls off the front page,and then it gets forgotten. I've seen it happen a couple of times. A postponement can be mean its dead, you know.
