I just recently got Battlespire working in Dosbox, I like it so far. My question is: How many of you have actually played this game? Did you like it, hate it, or just meh. :confused:

I thought it was a great game, being able to interact with enemies was a nice touch. But I was always disappointed that there was so little interaction with friendly NPCs, no friendly towns full of people, etc. But other than that I really enjoyed it. Plus you can play it online

Sometimes I feel like a minority for having enjoyed Battlespire. Awesome that you got it working with Dosbox; I tried a number of years ago, and I ran quite poorly, which was disappointing. Now I'll have to try it again!

I haven't played it. I wish I could, it sounds like a really neat game. I've read the story on TIL, so I know what happens, but I'd still like to experience it for myself. The only way I could find the game is on ebay, and it's priced higher than I'd want to pay for a game I'm unsure I'll like 100%. Is there a battlespire demo that still works?
