For anyone who may have experienced any of these things...

I recently finished the main quest with my custom Imperial knight character and I'm assuming Baurus died in the chaos of the final battle with Dagon in the Temple District. I checked Cloud Ruler Temple and he wasn't there, so is it safe to say that he's dead? Jauffre died in the Bruma battle and his body is still there, so that one was easy.

Also, I lost the Adoring Fan in the wilderness when I got too far ahead of him. He's always respawned after three days. I didn't go into a gate or tell him to wait, so I'm a little puzzled that he has reappeared. I also seem to have lost Battlehorn Castellan in the final battle (Alas, Athon died in the battle of Bruma Gate.). I haven't found him again at Battlehorn castle and can't rebuy him from Omellian. Is it possible that he respawned somewhere else or did the reset after the temple district remove him from the game? (It's been over two weeks since the battle, I have my dragon armor, so there has been plenty of time...)

I think it's safe to say that Baurus is dead.

As for Adoring, did you check the Imperial Arena? He's usually hanging out somewhere there after he respawns. Go around the district until you see a certain little Bosmer with shocking yellow hair.
