Beards and hair

Post » Fri Nov 13, 2009 12:57 pm

Seeing as this game takes place can we get beards and decent hair styles. Along the lines of other games like dragon age, mass effect, fallout.

Beards will most likely be in the game....whats a nord or a viking without a beard!

Exactly. The beards in DA were pretty awesome, especially the dwarves.

I am quite confident that there will be beards. They had beards in Fallout 3 and they've built the Skyrim engine from what they used on Fallout, so at the very least I don't see why they wouldn't have a set of beards similar/identical to those from Fallout 3 (with updated textures).

I'm sure it's a safe bet we're going to have a good multitude of beards to choose from.

I'm still hoping as we've made it through at least morrowind and oblivion without beards. :fingerscrossed:

Beards are a must, Oblivion's darkened skin just didn't cut it for me, especially how it alters the skin colour.:(

I am sure they will be added ... If they are in Fallout , they will be here, too ... And yea, Skyrim needs to have beards ! Both for warming you up and because ... It is full of vikings !

Yea the ones added in by the BLOODMOON expansion for the Nords were extra cool.

I hoping for a better character creator all together. More hairstyles, beards, ect.

And please let us make our character look good, every girl I ever made in Oblivion looked like she had some kind of horrible skin condition.

I'm surprised we haven't seen any beards yet in any Elder Scrolls game (or the ones I've played). It must be like ladders; something they just can't seem to get right.

I guess that's confirmation. :P

Not that we need any. It's already obvious.

Bethesda has already confirmed that Skyrim will be using a whole new engine.

But yeah - there will be beards.

Yeah, the ES series is my favorite high fantasy setting, but no beards would be uncivilized.

Can I braid my beard periodically?

OOOOOh can we please have an option to change our hairstyles throughout the game ala barber shop etc?

More hair choices isn't a bad thing but then again we don't even know what this new engine can do.
