I've always wondered that too.. There's got to be a lack of hair removal aids in the wasteland meaning there would probably be quite a few women sporting some stylish stashes and beards.
I'm hoping they do a lot more with womens hair styles as well... Seems unfair that in past games men got all these groovy beards and women had basically the same amount (and in some cases) the exact same hairstyle the men had.
I think looking at the beards in Skyrim will give us a better idea of what to expect from F4.
Well the pre-war images basically show some traditional 1950's hair styles, which makes sense. It wouldn't make sense that we could put a purple mohawk on the female PC at the beginning. However, there needs to be a way to make some stylish changes in game for this.
Bearded ladies though ... I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't there.
I think a little artistic license will be given for the hairstyle selection in the prologue, Pre-War styles be damned. One of the presets had an undercut, and that definitely wasn't huge in the 50s. Methinks there will be a barber or plastic surgeon of sorts you can meet later in the game, of course.
I don't care one way or the other. The time and money Bethesda spends making beards is wasted on me. I only play female characters.
Of course! As the owner of a rather bushy beard all of my characters tend to get the biggest beard the game can provide!
I can see it now...
*morphs nose*
"such a cute nose!"
*wills beard into existence!*
"holy crap, honey!"
I want really big hair... massive amounts of huge locks of hair. I want to just be a bunch of hair blowing in the wasteland wind.
hmm, this seems to lay down the game rules for the lasses:
Uhm... a little silliness is fine of course, but do try to stay reasonably on topic. I split off some posts.
Carry on,.
I don't give a damn about beards, as I mostly play females - I like a lot of selection of hairstays, and not all '50s helmet head styles either. When I do roll a male character, I always pick the scruff option - I dunno, looks rugged to me.
