What types of bears do you expect to encounter? Brown bears, polar bears, panda bears?

Bears are not friendly! They are merciless, godless killing machines. And THEY. WILL. KILL. YOU! They are an even more dangerous than dragons could ever hope to be, and are the Number One Threat in America Tamriel.

If I recall correctly, Black bears, Grizzly bears and Snow bears were all found on Solstheim, so I can see them coming back in Skyrim, particularly Snow bears. I am not 100% on Black bears.

Hopefully we'll see some polar bear.

Sorry, but in the 200 years since OB, Mages have been using only fire spells, which melted the akaviri ice shelf and killed all of them off.

God, I hated bears so much in Oblivion! I think that they are the only thing that really killed me in the game

I don't particularly care what kind of bears there are. I just want to see someone exit pursued by one. Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale

I hope not Teddy-bears, that cuddle you to death.

But what do we know, what can we expect out of a new release?

Darn, as much as that platypus bear rocks, I would hate to kill him. Now I'm the one that would have to kill a brother.

I expect to see Rohugh(The Forum Booboo).

I can see it now... a mead hall in the lonely winter wild. Nords talk, sing and drink merrily, fearing no marauding beast nor black-cloaked stranger - for in the shadows of the great hall sits a bear. Stranger still than its rugged countenance and dread stare is its air of patient calm... waiting, watching, for some stranger to break The Rules of that merry hall, and see the bear revealed in its aspect of retribution and justice, a great furry doom of tearing claws and crushing jaws and terrible terrible eyes. No one breaks The Rules... and lives to tell the tale. Dun dun dunnnn!

Seriously though, I hope there are really fearsome, primal-looking grizzlies in Skyrim, not to be outshone by the mammoths and sabretooth cats. And werebears.
