What do you like being - a beast, elf, or a human?
I personally love being a dark elf - their backstory is very intriguing and awesome to read.

I guess I've played about 60% Human and 40% Elf over the years. I've never played a beast race yet.
I tend to end up playing human most of the time in TES. That is going to limit what alliances I can play in the MMO. Cannot get into the beasts, and elves are the closest second.
I almost never choose the beast races; my first ever TES character was a High Elf and that's where I normally start out at, maybe sometimes Breton depending on which game. Dunmer look in Skyrim is also pretty cool.
Beast is the best for me, rarely play the others.
Voted Elves. If I had to break it down it would be about 60% elf, 35% beast, 5% human. Have never played as a Nord or Redguard.
Redguards are my favorites so I suppose Human. Bretons are the closest Tamrielic equivalent to Half-Elves, long my favorite race in fantasy, and are my second-favorite race to play.
I've yet to come up with good concepts for Argonian, Khajiit, or Altmer characters.
Mostly Bretons, Bosmer and Orsimer. Rarely play Altmer, Khajiit, Argonians or Imperials.
99% Nords, occasionally an Altmer. Feeling tempted to do a Dunmer, or maybe an Orc.
I appreciate the other races, but have less than no desire to play as any of them.
100% Bosmer since 2007 (Oblivion) and without end into the future.
None of the above. I prefer humanoid daedra. Most of my Skyrim characters have been dremora.
Skyrim wise, the only successful playthroughs I've had (as in, playthroughs that actually last and don't end after an hour because restartitis) were ones played with humans. Specifically, Imperial and Nord. I guess I work better with humans. I've never played a beast race before, so I'm considering trying out an Argonian.
Mostly humans after that Mer never played beastraces.
I picked the human race, although this list explains my preferences better:
1. Nords
my first character was a nord, my favourite character is a nord, my favourite npc also happens to be a nord
2. Elves (minus Orsimer)
their otherworldly beauty explains this choice
3. Other human races, Orsimer and beast races
I don't sympathize with them so much
I voted elves, though like many others, it's mostly a mix.
I love playing either Dunmer, Altmer, or Orsimer, but I wouldn't touch the Bosmer with a ten-feet pole (I blame the Adoring Fan for my prejudice).
I also like playing a Nord for my board and sword characters, sometimes I use the Bretons, but I have played a Redguard only once thus far, and never as an Imperial.
For the beast races, I do enjoy playing as either one of them from time to time, but somehow never for long. I plan to change that in the near future though.
My best RP characters are Argonians and Khajiits. It's great that TES lets the player RP something entirely different than other rpg's. I love the lore of Argonians and Khajiits, and their beastly looks (combined with lack of many npcs of the same race) emphasizes the "stranger in a strange land" feeling.
Ohh... I thought you were asking about my mother-in-law.
I think I prefer to be high elf. Love that magic, eh? I was human once...
Considering my top races are one of each (Breton, Khajiit, Bosmer), it's hard to say.
I vote human due to how many "main" human characters compared to the rest. (2 Bretons, 1 Khajiit, 1 Imperial, 1 Bosmer, 1 Argonian).
Usually Elves since almost all my characters are Orcs. Second would probably be Humans since I play Imperials and Redguards, with sometimes a Nord sprinkled there.
Elf, Bosmer for the most part. I do use a few elf race mods from time to time though.
I almost always play an Imperial female child. If I wish to play as an advlt it is usually a Khajiit. My current character after being away from Skyrim for some time is a very handsome advlt male Khajiit. I once played an advlt male Imperial which I ran as a Roman officer. And a handful of human advlt females. I haven't played an Elf since Oblivion where I had a lot of fun with a female Wood Elf. I've also played a Redguard once, an Argonian once and a Tabby Tabaxi (a custom race) all in Oblivion.
