Beast pics.

When do you think we will see the beast races for the first time in Skyrim? I am really excited about what they could look like. You think they will go back to being more beast-ish like in Morrowind, or more humanoid like in Oblivion. I want a mix where they look more like beasts but can still have shoes and such.

Soon I hope. It'll be interesting to see if Orcs are looking more beastly too

Hmmm I am curious how Orcs could look more beastly. I have never played them actually.

I imagine they'll look like Oblivion for the most part. I'm really curious about what they look like, too. I've never played either of the beast races, but I've been considering trying a Khajiit for Skyrim. That depends a lot on what they look like in Skyrim though.

I think this will be one of their big reveals, a trump card! My speculation is they will be more beast like, and more angry looking :verymad:

Hrmpff... The term 'beast'-race is rather insulting to us furries imo.

But you are right. I hope we'll get a picture or a video soon.

I always play as the cat specifically an assassin now that my friend turned me on to alchemy, I can not wait for more poison arrows and my dagger of burden.

I find no insult in the term beast. There is no reason to hide a part of what a beast race is.

I really like the idea of mini-skyrim episodes, maybe twice a month or so just with little snips of information, not even videos but just maybe 6 screenshots or "leaked" screen to stir things up. Got to love marketing ploys.

i think it was kinda lame at first in morrowind where kajhits and lizards couldn't wear shoes/faced helmets, but it was worse in oblivion where they could wear them (shoes at least i'm sure they could.). it made no sense, and it took away most of the things that distinguished them from the other races, i couldn't tell if my bro was playing an argonian or not! except for the tail...

If I can look like a white tiger or a snow leopard I'll be a Khajiit for Skyrim.

There was a concept art with an Argonian somewhere, I guess. It could be pretty old though...

I think they'll look quite incongruous with the Skyrim world and the sort of barbarian theme that's evedent in the photos we've seen so far. I think lizardmen and cat people will just look out of place. Perhaps commically so.

Got to have them I suppose.

<_<

Khajiits and Argonians are beasts. Some Khajiits walk on all fours, can't talk, and are barely distinguishable from a leopard. Interpreting it as insulting is just silly and just looking for a reason to be offended. They are not humans and they are not elves. They are beastfolk. It is not an insult or a demeaning term.

That's what I'm hoping for, more beast-like Khajiit. Not the ones on all fours, but less man looking than in Oblivion.

Well if they are going to be like oblivion (same 3d mesh for everyone) I'd like that at least you could change your "body" while creating your character, I mean how fat or tall you are. This could help to make other species (and NPCs made by Beth) look more diferent. Like orcs being more muscular and stuff... dwenmers tallers etc.

I hope we see a lot on info at E3 xP

I hope Orcs are better this time around. Mint green was NOT a good color for them.

Todd answered a twitter question about when we're gonna see new beast races with something along the lines of "look forward to seeing some new stuff in the next 30 days"
