So I've been milling around this forum for the past few days and lurking through threads. I saw a few discussing marriage and what not.

A thought just came to me: wouldn't allowing people to marry an Argonian/a Khajit be, essentially, condoning beastiality?

You aren't getting that they are not animals. They are humanoid and sentient. Beastiality is sixual intercourse with animals. Stop acting like you don't get this.

Several people (including myself) just said that they are humanoids.

They are sentient.
Are bipedal.
Have language.
Have jointed thumbs.
Are more human than animal.

It is not condoning beastiality.

six with animals is considered bestiality because beast are not do not have the intellectual capacity that Humans do, they cannot speak, make decisions based on facts, they just have instict. That's the difference. The Beast races in TES games are humanoid, IE, they are sentient have the intellectual capacity of humans, they can speak, make decisions based on facts, etc.
