Beastspeaking abilities...?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 8:18 am

Well, I was thinking of including a rare and rather unique individual into a story I have going around in my head, and I was thinking that it would be cool and also add some twists to the plot if she could speak to beasts through telepathy...But I don't want to go completely off the rails concerning TES Lore, so I come here, Oh, Lore-Buffs of the forum to ask if any of you know of a case of anyone speaking through telepathy to animals, or wether it could be explainable or pulled off in a TES Universe...

Thanks in advance :)

Bosmer can talk to beasts. Which makes the whole carnivore thing they have going even more creepy.

Yeah, that never made sense to me.

But yeah, Bosmer can speak in 'beast tongue,' but aside from that, the only way people speak to beasts is by learning their language, and that is only possible to do in the case of creatures like giants, dragons, centaurs, and dreugh. There's no other way to speak to 'mundane' animals like a wolf or a lion. Or guar.

Bosmer don't chat to animals like at mahjong. I think they talk to an animal, and the animal understands and obeys. Simple, really.

But, don't expect the Oxford forum in Narnia.
