Beat the game for the first time.

After exactly one day of gameplay time, and having put up with countless freezes, I finally managed to complete the game. Securing an independent New Vegas with my robotic army, the Battle Of Hover Dam was one of my favourite game endings of all time and it certainly made putting up with the countless bugs worth it. At the end, I finished level twenty five with around fifty quests completed. Since there is a system safe before you go to battle, I was wondering what people's views on the DLC was. Because, should it be any good, I'll likely reload my game at that point with some DLC and play through it with said character. So, what next? DLC, PC version for some mods...what do you recommend for my next playthrough/reload to do more quests?

Replay the game, patch it up and the main game is pretty stable. And of course get Honest hearts and old world blues asap, they are awesome.

All of the DLCs were very good in my opinion, many would argue Dead Money because it "tests your brain" and many people do not like that. Haven't play OWB yet, but have it. and HH was ok, not in my personal taste but I still enjoyed it.

If you have a PC as you say, get this: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38326
What I would do with the patch is look through all that it covers, and go to latest files on the nexus and download the newer individual patches by users. Really made my game stable.

Mods are really personal taste, much like most of the game, maybe tell us what you like to do in Fallout and we could send some mods your way or advice.

Obsidians DLC package has been stellar. You should get all 3....

I don't own the PC version, but, if some mods are truly fantastic as what I've heard, I might consider the PC version. I have an ATi Radeon 4250 Graphics Card, which according to the 'Can You Run It?' website is sufficient to run the game on minimum. When it comes to what I like in Fallout: New Vegas, I found the casino quests to be particularly enjoyable.

On the lowest settings it's more like "Morrowind with Guns" just so you know.
