Beating a challenge = no star?

Post » Tue Jan 11, 2011 10:37 am

So me and my three friends have been trying to do the challenges here on the 360. Although we have beat all of them once we have gotten no weapon attachment unlocks or stars. Are we just doing something wrong? I didn't see a topic about this already so sorry if it has been brought up.

Maybe you have to do it singleplayer

yeah maybe you advance in stars only solo. IDK I only played the challenges solo and got a new star every time I completed one.

Makes sense, I mean the more players you have playing, that's more players to spread out and get stuff done. Seems logical that they want you to unlock everything by yourself, without making it any easier.

The same thing has happened to me. The only way to get stars/unlocks is to complete the challenge's solo. I would like to make it known that I DO NOT LIKE THIS. I was really looking forward to completing the challenges with friends. Maybe some DLC will come out later that with some better co-op or versus challenges.

same happened to me. you have to do it solo to unlock items. this really svcks, because its fun to earn things with a party. kind of takes away from the teamwork aspect

It also stops you from getting boosted by a friend for unlocks. Honestly, the challenges are easy and you are given the option to go back and do it with friends anyways, so why does it matter?

Earning the unlocks solo is less fun than doing it with your friends.
