DESCRIPTION

Ainz's Beautiful Eyes -

This mod replaces the default Fallout eyes which I personally found a bit plain and ugly.
This is my first released mod, so any advice and constructive criticism is welcomed.

The current release has replacements for -

Blue Eyes
Green Eyes
Dark Brown Eyes
Hazel Eyes
Ghoul Eyes

It also add the following new options -

Rust
Emerald
Sapphire
Chocolate
Brown

INSTALLATION

Extract the contents of the folder into to the data folder in the Fallout 3 installation
directory. Answer 'Yes' to replace the origional folder. This won't replace your old
folders. Then activate the .esp via the Fallout launcher, Fallout Mod Manager or any
other utility you use.

WARNING: It is recommended that you make a backup of your texture folder before
replacing it with any mods.

FUTURE PLANS

There is a new release coming up very soon. This will contain re-mapped eye meshes allowing the character to have to different colour eyes. There are 25+ new options and replacements for the originals. I will upload some screens soon.

This is currently only version 0.6 but in my next release, I'm hoping to add a few more new options, and I'll be sure to include the bright green for you.

The Ghoul eye is amazing. Blue is a bit saturated for my taste. The others are well done as well. Perhaps a lighter blue? It would be great to see NPC's with different eye colors. :goodjob:

Just updated the eyes. Recoloured all the one I did so far and created a better base texture.

I haven't seen any eye mods, that's the reason I made my own.

This is also my first mod, so I'm quite happy with the outcome.

Haven't seen any? Have you looked? There's quite a few that have been around for a long time, including ones that just replace the default colours without adding any new ones. I used to use http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=298 but ended up just making my own.

Thankyou.

If anyone has any suggestions for colours they would like to see in the new versions, please feel free to let me know and I'll try to include them.

Also, does anyone know how to turn on comments and endorsemants on Fallout Nexus?

They are disabled on my file for some reason and I can't see any option to enable them.

maybe a dark grey-ish color, or blind eyes? that might be interesting (just something that came to my head)

i've never uploaded anything on the Nexus, so i couldnt tell you how :( but once you get it working out, you can expect at least one endorsemant :D

Managed to fix the comments and endorsemant problem now, so if you like it, give my file your endorsemant.

Thanks Everyone.

That's a huge improvement over the original. Great to see the range of choices too. The only thing I'd nitpick is the "blue" is perhaps a bit too bright for my tastes (unless of course that was the effect you were looking for). I'd suggest a paler, more greyish blue, but other people might not agree with me.

I was thinking maybe it was a bit to light.
I'll possibly add a new option for a darker blue in the next release.

Ok, I have some time to do some more work on this.

Any suggested eye colours?

How about an eye that looks like the terminator eye (first movie) after he got damaged and had to remove his cornea? It showed a small camera with a red glow inside...

Personally, I have central Heterochromia, light brown with olive green centres. The chicks dig 'em :D

You mean in real life?

If so, is that one of your suggestions?

Oh yeah.

I've never actually met someone with full or sectoral heterochromia IRL, but everyone on my mother's side has central heterochromia.

And the lass in Memento has full, for example.

Background radiation count would probably make it _more_ common in FO3's world, given that its either caused by genetic defects or by environmental pollutants.

edit: clikc link, read wiki :D

Oh, my mother has sectoral heterochromia.

Seems like a good idea. I might also look in to the two separate colours for each eye. That might be good.

Thanks.

Does anyone know how I would go about making one choice have two different colour eyes?
