Beauty and Dignity

Post » Fri Jun 24, 2011 12:42 pm

I want the NPCs to be beautiful, and judging form the screen shots i have seen, they are.

However I hope bethesda doesnt give into the 13 year old boys who play games like this just to see the occasional boob. Im fine with a few NPCs being a little [censored]tier than the others, but if you want this game to be a stripperfest, download a mod. I dont want to be playing a pormo.

Don't f*cking insult 13-year olds like that.

13 Year Olds have NO REASON to be playing an M RATED Game in the first place child. Unless they have bad parents or something.

Why does it matter if you see nudity? I think it's more concerning that you have to use violence than to see an occasional boob, [censored] or [censored].

In games like this nudity is rarely gratuitous fan service, but if there's any scenes and situations in this M rated game that call for nudity then there better be nudity. Censorship is for the weak.

1) Why would you ever expect, based on both previous Elder Scrolls games and the screenshots shown, that there would be even slightly "revealing" clothing?

2) In what odd, puritanical world does some revealing clothes = "pormo"?

I think it would nice if the female Daedra looked like they were supposed to, but other than that, I can take it or leave it.

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say....

Especially considering the fact that all of the pictures we've seen of female NPC's have been very tame. The main (male) character has worn the most revealing outfit so far....

Fixed that for ya. :D

Oh, and as anyone familiar with recent TES titles can tell you- forget about there being nudity, it ain't gonna happen outside of the inevitable mods.

Should they listen to you or should they care about how much they sell? If they add stuff that will appeal to a majority of the audience then people will buy it...and they don't care for a few people who are strict in abstinence in the games they play. It won't be a strip-fest and we all should stop bickering about Bethesda making it one. Bethesda is not stupid. They'll add what they need to in a smart and efficient way. Can you even imagine Skyrim being a stripfest? It won't.
I really hope Bethesda doesn't take this forum seriously because if they do this will turn out to be one silly game.

I think Beth will try and avoid nudity and immaturity like they have for the last two games. I think that's the direction they want to take. Just because they wanted to make the NPC's beautiful doesn't mean they're going to add that in. It's unnecessary anyway because they could spend that time touching on more important aspects of the game. With that said, if you want it you can mod it in and if you can't someone will. Beth is aware of that. That is why the modding community is a really big help to them because it allows for choice. Nudity and immaturity in video games is best when it comes as a choice for the players. Don't need to make a big deal about it.

Not if they're remotely attractive. That's why artistic nudity is always old grannies, fat, or ugly people. If its not attractive, I guess its acceptable. Anything that is gets labeled as erotic.

It's a stupid fault of today's easily offended society.

I have this wierd feeling you don't know what gratuitous means. EX: seeing nudity in a six scene or brothel isn't gratuitous.
