Beauty! ...Mk II

I like how the first thread was a rant about the baffling and annoying standards of modern beauty, and by the second it's basically "post who you think is hot according to modern beauty standards."

What, like http://tastyblogsnack.com/images/ijustine-mohawk.jpg?

That pic is shopped, right? I just can't see iJustine wearing her hair like that. Or those earings.

I'm not sure, actually. If it's photoshopped, it's very well done, with no jagged edges, and it even has depth of field on the mohawk.

She has quite remarkable eyes, and a classically elegant face. She's incredibly beautiful, IMO.

Yes, I think its her eyes that make her stand out almost more than the hair. With a more normal hairdo you could stick her in ancient Rome and nobody would know any different.

What about http://newserrado.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/ilia.jpg from Star Trek?

I've noticed something interesting about the majority of pictures that were posted thus far...

It fits in so well with what we're talking about...

They would notice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukW04nnjFmo she is, though. Might burn her for a witch. :o

While I have no idea who or what "ijustine" is, it would in fact appear to be shopped. Further googling reveals http://www.loupiote.com/photos/2634615907.shtml to be the original photo.

Still, she should consider doing her hair like that, it suits her.

Blimey, I should've looked at the face itself, not the hairline and the mohawk.

The photo of her is even not the same size as the one it's copied into.

Piercings and Tattoos where on the topic before Post Limit

Imo tattos are not that nice, especially when they fade and get wrinkled. Peirceings only ok to have in ears.

Your just crazy. Those eyes and nice full lips, a strong jaw (highly attractive, think Rosario Dawson), even without those knockers she would be top 3 easily. I personally think they are a bit on the big side anyway.

Yeah a bit too big, still not really my top 10... I dont have a top 10 (should make one) but she really isnt that nice, im not saying shes ugly, but I have seen nicer.

Yup, she's been age-appropriate for me in each movie when I first saw it...of course, it's a bit weird to watch the earlier movies now :P Not that I really feel the need to, they've gotten progressively better, but the first ones are pretty meh at this point. Still though, Emma is very attractive.

Agreed, Christina is easily on my top 10, and high up on it as well.

Yep.

Anyway people are posting pics of what they like so again from the previous thread http://www.ladyzona.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/emo-makeup.gif

We certainly have different tastes. Its strange that you would not like tats or piercing, the type of girl you seem to find attractive is the same type to more-than-not get a tattoo or piercing.

True, but the main thing I like about them is their hair and eyes. I cant really think of other types who look like them and dont have tats and peirceings. Also chances are I will never stand much of a chance, music tastes are a real issue, and if they hang with emo guys it definately wont go well... As for peircings and tats, peircings can be removed, so its not to big of a deal, they are still ugly, as for tats, I used tto like them, but imoits nicer to have pure skinn not skin stained with ink.

At the end of the day Im sure there are plenty of people like that with no tats or peirceings. Hope there are anyway.

I'm with you on the type of girl (but I like the tattoos/piercings - depending on the girl). On the other side of things though, I tend to go for tall(ish) girls with pale skin who don't wear much make-up. Sounds strange saying I tend to like "emo" girls too, but there you go. Generally, I'll prefer those who don't wear make-up. They have to be really slender too. Shallow, but can't help myself.

It depends sometimes they can be too thin, but usually thin is kinda healthy, dont really see many people who are too thin to the point where bones are showing, that stuff just creeps me out. But face it 90% of relationships start of shallow, you notice them because of looks then build off that, unless you talk on the internet like their personality then meet them, but yeah people are shallow its human nature.

Just curious though, how can you like peirceings ? Just spikes of metal in their face, not attractive, ears are ok for some reason, but after that to me it just looks bad, I find it odd you like people who dont wear make up, yet like people who have peirceings and tats.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being shallow, when it comes to appearance, because appearance is just skin deep anyway.

Myself, I like short and stout girls; there's nothing more attractive than a girl around 150-155cm with just the right height to weight ratio, and that's something I've been drawn to for any number of years. Of course, myself being 197cm, all girls appear small to me.

That's not to say I cannot appreciate tall and slender women, just that they are not my first choice when it comes to looks.

Hey! I'm 5"10, I'd count girls that height as fairly tall :P

When I slender, I don't mean ribs showing, but not much more on them. Prefer them not to be really toned though (like - a girl with a 6 pack). That turns me right off.

I think to truly see beauty in another person, you must first remove yourself from the equation...

Don't think: "Does that girl suit me?" Or anything.. See it for what it is...

It's not like if she's 'too tall' for you or whatever, she ceases to be beautiful.. There are alot of women who's appearance I
admire, but are taller than me. ( Im only 5'8 anyway so.. :P )

It's not that I particularly like piercings, I just don't notice them that much. I've never really noticed the difference of a tongue and lip piercing - never kissed a girl with snake-bites though (that might be a bit odd). Nose and ears don't really bother me, nor do I find them attractive as such. Tattoos can either be well done, or tacky - it completely depends on the tattoo. My ex' had a tattoo of a flower on her hip (she had it done whilst we were dating) and it was well done, so it took nothing away from how good she looks. Wouldn't say it added anything either though. The skin feels the same.

However, I tend to find the girls I like - get piercings and tattoos, so it's something I've become accustomed to. It goes with the no-make-up thing too, ideally, a girl would have neither piercings or tattoos (as well as make-up), and their natural hair colour. I just prefer them to be natural. Like smooth legs and arms though :P. I'm a man of contraction.

For me, excessive piercing is a total turn off. I can deal with one in each ear. But thats about it.

Tattoos however are a grey area. I totally agree with you, they can either be tastefully done, or just plain ugly. But it can't be one of those Travis Barker; covering the whole body, trailer park, Jerry Springer reject tattoos.. A simple and subtle design in an equally subtle location.

Im all for nature too, in many cases make-up hinders and doesn't help.

If I converted Meters to Feet right, then I'm at about that height as well.

Why can't you Americans use the Metric system? Would be so much more convenient :P
