Romeo

You’re right, we should go to the castle. But later, when we’ve got enough money, we should do the thing with the book, too.”

Romeo noticed Craig stood there silenced and didnt spoke up anything during the conversation. "might be handy to ask his opinion before he makes up his mind half-way" he thought.
"So, Gregor how do you think about his?"

Scott

I shook my head, not knowing what they were talking about. What painting? I hadn't heard of that quest, but it sounded easy enough. Then another alternative hit me, "Wait a second. We don't even need real magic. We already know the future. Depending on where we are in the timeline, we could sell our services as 'oracles' and predict the daedric attack on Kvatch, or the stealing of the Amulet of Kings from Weynon Priory. We'd probably mess the plot right up, but it would definitely get us somewhere."

OOC: And you've stumbled upon my plot. Nicely done. xD

Eve
I turned to look at Scott. "Well, maybe. We don't know what time this is, do we? I mean...maybe the Kvatch Invasion already happened. But if it hasn't...then that would be perfect." I said. I turned to the others. "Alright, I vote that we go to the castle, do the painting quest and get some money, and find out what the date is along the way. Any objections?"

OOC: Evidently Ive been gone too long. I'm just going to play along as if I hadn't :)

Ayrton

"I have to agree with Eve" I say "But there's always a chance that the painting was found... We should let the countess bring up the topic not us. We don't want to become to obvious at the start in case something goes wrong." My opinion in I wait for the other too answer. Who knows what will happen if we try to reveal the future...

Scott made the proposal to sell our knowledge of the future and Eve and Ayrton answered that we should first find out what the date is. “Yeah, let’s go to the castle and find out the current date. Bat what are we gonna say if the thief has already been found? ... We could also just tell her the truth, maybe she’ll help us. And for the date we could just ask someone.”
I stopped talking and waited for an answer. Me sitting—“lying” would be more fitting—there on that bench certainly looked absolutely ridiculous. I thought about ho long I had been there. Maybe one or two hours? That means it’s like... 10 o’clock maybe? Who or whatever has brought me here must also have woken me up... Why didn’t I just go to bed again and be woken up by my mom shouting “Stand up, it’s lunch time.” instead of pressing that [censored] button on my laptop. No, I didn’t press it, someone or something else did that for me. At least the people here are all very nice, but that doesn’t help much if no one has money or at least something to drink or eat. I sat on the bench—now it was sitting—not to look too stupid, but a few seconds later I closed my eyes again. Stupid [censored].

ic:
The next few minutes were very interesting, not simply because he was in Oblivion, but because of the group he was now part of, for instance, Craig couldn't help but smile at the boy that ran up to them and did nothing other than collapse, it was wierd and while he didn't have a clue why, he assumed all the excitement had gotten to him. The next small detail that Craig picked up on was that Romeo had said, Thank the divines. he'd only heard it in the game and hearing someone say it was extremely, unnerving, would they suddenly pick up the slang of Cyrodiil? I certainly hope not! he declared, noticing with a smirk - The wink that "Romeo" gave Eve. "Romeo" looked 20 atleast and Eve was.. Young, that "Romeo" was flirting with her made him raise an eyebrow. He noticed he'd been pretty quiet during the whole ordeal, relying on a simple smile and a nod here and there to get his point across, the idea about the painting was a great one, and selling their knowledge was.. Well.. He'd think about it.

"I agree about the painting idea," He spoke up, "But getting the countess to tell us could be difficult, why would she tell us, a bunch of strangers that her castle isn't the most secure in the kingdom?" He asked, the question had bugged him, counts and countesses relied on the appearence of power, if their castle had been broken into and news got around, they could be laughed at by other members of the upper class.

I frowned when Craig pointed out that the countess might not let us in on it. "That's true...well, it's worth a shot. Maybe we could just say that we're looking for work and ask her if there's anything we could do for her? And see if she brings it up?" I shrugged. "Well either way, there's no one in here and finding out the date is a priority. Shall we head to the castle?"

"Alright then, lets start out towards the castle." I start "I don't think the divines will help us for now. and maybe, if we're lucky, we'll find out some of our birth signs." I walk up to the chapel door and press on it. Ugh, I don't care if its to respect the gods, the creaking and the weight of this thing is too annoying! "Ugh..." I notice something at last, nothing spectacular, but I do absolutely adore the wind. "That's a refreshing breeze!" I feel lighter and energetic, just like whenever I'm in wind. The sun is shining quite calmly considering how little clouds there are. Its very calming indeed. I look around. There are people walking about, people that I never saw in the game, some with longer tails, shorter ears, different styles and colors of hairs. There are even children going about! It is amazing compared to what I imagined! There's a Argonian child! Huh, its odd that this game can't be thought of as a game anymore. "I think I realized a detail that will make this a Hell of a lot more interesting. We sorta know the future, or whatever, but if we tell someone that future will change right? Okay so now there's all of these people here that we don't know, people that were never in the game, so we can assume that some things will be different. Maybe there will be people hunting, or in caves, or helping with the..." There are a lot of people around so maybe we should avoid talking about the oblivion gates... I drop my voice to a whisper. "We should probably only talk about oblivion gates when we're secluded until they come out." I raise my voice again. "Okay! We probably look weird with such a large group, but lets not split up now! Lets go!"

OOC: Sorry but since this is real life now, I'd assume that new people would be involved. Also, I would like to say that I think magic should be more... elemental based instead of learning spells. Anyways I'm BACK!

The boy with the black t-shirt looked at me as if a was a clown. Yeah, real [censored] funny. He and Eve talked about how to get the countess to tell us about the painting, and after a few seconds we all were on our way to the castle. Ayrton said something about how warning the people here about their future would change it. As he noticed that the town was full of people and even children he began to whisper; he then said that because of all the people some things would be different. “Some details sure will be different, but the core story about the Oblivion gates should remain the same. And I think we should still warn the people about the future. We don’t know what will happen, but I’m sure less people will die if we tell someone.”

Romeo
" He has a point in warning people". Romeo thought. "I think announcing an armegeddon on a sunny day with non-cyrodilic clothes on would make us either lunatics or evil cult members. Well, thats my guess...
It might be handy to warn those who have a bit of pre-knowledge or the authority of moving large forces? Does Jauffre know about what is comming? He is a mile or 2 away from Chorrol.

"Any way ill check up at the fighters-guild what the conditions are to join there besides having a clean record". I dont think you need 6 persons to solve that cause. If anyone else is interested in walking with me feel free to join in."

While splitting up from the group, Romeo tortured his mind of what he could do from there on. "If i manage to borrow a bow, arrows and some leather clothes fromt he fighters guild, I am defiantly going the right way. Ha! Just give me a 45 pound recurve bow and it can die very fast. Well once i am in range of 25 meters. Gosh why is the shooting range on Earth only 25 meters. I wish I had played some 3d shooting games. Guess i have to sneak more and shoot less? Hit, but dont get hit.. well at least thats an idea. "

Eve
As we left the chapel I noticed a guard standing at a corner, watching us curiously. "I'll be right back."

I hurried over to the guard. "Um, hello. My friends and I are...not from here." He raised an eyebrow. "I can see that." I ignored that and said, "Could you tell us the date?" He blinked at me, then slowly said, "It's Sundas..." I shook my head. "No, no, I mean the actual date. Like the...year and stuff." I know that sounded weird but he would have to deal with it. He was definitely looking freaked out, but he said, "It's the 27th of Last Seed, Akatosh 433..." He said. Oh Lord... I thought to myself, instantly recalling another time when those exact words had been said.

"Thank you." I said, then turned and hurried back to the others. "Alright, I just asked the guard - it's the very first day of the game. Like, the emperor is probably running around down in the sewers right now." I said, feeling a little faint. We hadn't been able to avoid the Oblivion Gates. I was starting to realize how dangerous this was going to be.

"[censored].." He swore under his breath, quickly appologising for the mistake, he didn't like swearing in churches, something about tempting fate. He wiped his brow with his right hand and rubbed his eye, the situation had become more dire, if he recalled, all hell broke loose, "We still have time to save Kvatch." he mumbled, the idea had sprung into his head, while he didn't really see the people around him, (Other than the humans) as actual sentient beings just yet, he certainly understood tha value of Kvatch and that if they could warm them, thousands could be saved.

He was about to pitch the question to the group when he shook his head, They'd just agree it'd be a good thing to do. he thought and besides - Time was of the essence, after all.. They were going to invade, the evening the emperor died. A determined look spread across his face as he jogged towards the guard, "Excuse me." He stated, looking back quickly at the group before returning his attention to the guard, "There's going to be an attack against Kvatch, I must see the captain of the guard immediately." His words came out too quickly for him to think on, adrenaline was pumping and the guard could tell Craig wasn't joking.

Slightly taken aback, the guard slowly nodded and looked towards the castle, "Are you sure about this?" He asked, contemplating the consequences of bringing a civilian to the Captain if it was all a farse.
"Positive, tonight, Kvatch will burn." Craig replied, "I'll go get my friends, they can probably explain it better than I." he added before heading back towards the others in a hurried jog, "Hey guys! I figured we could save Kvatch, right? It'll get attacked tonight, while the amulet is not in control of an emperor, right?" He asked, not really caring for an answer, "Well, the guard over there will take us to the Captain, who will probably hear us out." It was here, as he returned back to the guard that he realised - What would happen if the Emperor wasn't actually going to die? What would happen if this wasn't going to follow Oblivion? That infact, their time here was to be perfectly peaceful? His stomach twirled into a painful knot as he contemplated the thought.

Alex
Turning his mind off of the interior of the Church, Alex looked back at his compadres. A few more people mysteriously teleported into this world appeared, although the teen kept his ground as introductions were put into order. He grew slightly alarmed as several of the group had fled outside, only to return moments later saying that they contacted a guard to warn about the attack on Kvatch. Alexander's internal sensor began to beep like crazy, telling a guard about events that could unfold was a bad idea to him. One, there was no way of knowing if they would even happen, and Two, why would the captain of the guard listen to a bunch of kids dressed like they're not from Tamriel, which hell, they weren't. He hated what he was about to do, but it had to be done as it could be the difference between life and death, telling whether if the Guards were just as violent as they were in the game.

''Wait...wait wait.'' He spoke after the other finished, holding his arm in a 'halt' gesture. ''In my honest opinion, I don't think telling the captain of the guard, that we, a group of people not resident to Tamriel know that Kvatch will be attacked is a good idea.'' Alex looked around the room, scanning over the faces of the others as he continued. ''Think about it, we've left our world and have been teleported to a completely different one, but with our presence here, things will have changed. We're in an alternate reality, if anything, we should stay in hiding. One single action could effect the timeline in a way we could never possibly comprehend. We've changed things already just by being here.'' Growing more nervous, the human let out a sigh under his breath. The more he thought about this, the more screwed they were in this world.

I bit my lip and looked at Alex. "That's right...how would we explain how we knew that Kvatch was going to be attacked? We can't tell them that their world is a game, they'd throw us in an asylum...er, prison." Still though, we could save hundreds of lives if the city was alerted and the people were evacuated. Then again, would the Mythic Dawn find out about that and just switch the target city around? Maybe even target Chorrol, to get us out of the way?

OOC: I do a HELL of a lot of talking and some (Alot) of bossing around in this. I'm not trying to be rude or anything just throwing out my characters Ideas.

Ayrton

"I really, like REALLY don't like the idea of telling the guards, it makes my stomach turn. think about it please." I cross my arms, "They will want to know how we knew that Kavatch would burn. Suddenly a realm which was thought to be sealed, that's important by the way, no one believes the oblivion gates CAN open anymore, is opened And these strangers from god knows where foretold it. Governments act similarly, how would our government handle it? Interrogation. Now I say this fearfully, even more so than in our world. We are in the MEDIEVAL like era, do you think they care about our rights?! Of course not! They're being attacked by oblivion! Christ, what if that happened on Earth, Chaos!" Wait, I have to calm down... I breathe in a deep breath and unsheathe my makeshift sword. I swing it around in some complex maneuvers. I end up placing it on my shoulder in my right hand. "Listen, I just realized how crazy all this is, even going to the castle. We have to, by the gods, split up." It's a horrible idea, I know. We have to entrust our safety and what not to utter strangers, but we have to get something done. "Now listen, we've already alerted the guard. So we have to avoid them now. They'll be looking for something along the lines of 'Strange people with odd clothes, wanted for interrogation' type thing. If we get some clothes we might be able to fit in more. So we have to do different things. First, we have to decide what groups are going where and doing what. Next we have to decide where and when to meet when certain things have been done, like gathering knowledge or money or even weapons, armor or clothing. So I am thinking that I want to get to the Mages guild. If anyone has any objections to splitting up then fine, I'm willing to listen. But I want to learn Magic and the guild offers free robes for apprentices the last time I checked. I would like to gather clothes and Knowledge on magic and maybe learn the ability." Sheesh I talk a lot.

OOC: Told ya so.

Craig frowned, it seemed people didn't agree with his idea, "Listen, if you guys don't want to come, don't bother, I'll find you later I'm sure, but I'm going to warn these people of Kvatch in the hope of saving thousands of lives, so... good luck." He added, grinding his teeth in disapointment. He turned back to the guard and motioned for him to carry on, "We don't have much time." He stated as the guard lead him towards the castle. As they walked, Craig couldn't help but feel somewhat defeated, he had hoped the group be very enthusiastic, ofcourse there were faults with the idea, but while they wanted to go off and learn magic, he was going to go and try to save peoples lives.

Ayrton

I ran up and grabbed Craig's arm, "Don't you get it!?" I yell-whispered in his ear. "Kavatch is burning! Right now! There are people dieing as we talk! The Emperor is probably about to be stabbed! What about him!? If we COULD save him, there would be little problem! So let me ask you this! If you do convince them to get to Kavatch how will you be able to get there on time? It would take a day on horse and all you'd be doing is taking these guards to their death!" I stepped back from him. "But your right we have to try to save as many people as we can. Say... oh I don't know how about all of Bruma and Cloud Ruler Temple? We know the future, but what if the prisoner dies or fails? We will have to take up the task, Hell! We already have to try and help! But going to Kavatch and getting yourself killed will not help in the slightest. We have to prepare and strike the Mythic Dawn before they can strike us! It's your decision." I turn towards the rest of the group. "Listen, I hate being a leader, as much as I am bossy, I hate it. But We have to make a decision. Should we go to Kavatch and maybe save some lives, but risk the guard and our lives in the process? Or should we give up those lives so that the guards and we can live to fight the Mythic dawn another day. I am not going to vote. I find both ideas repulsive so I will follow the majority vote." I don't understand. With no weapons, spells, armor or anything, how in the Hell are we supposed to fight Deadra!? "Oh yah, one more thing to think about, we have nothing to fight trained murdering Daedra or their companions. We have to hurry, the guards will be here soon."

“I think Ayrton is right. I’d like to warn the people of Kvatch, too, but when we get there, the attack will already have started. Probably we wouldn’t even make it there alive. And even if we tell them something like ‘An invasion from Oblivion is starting, so you’re all gonna die.’, it wouldn’t change anything, they’d still all die.” I talked so fast and nervous I didn’t even understand myself. “And if we don’t learn magic or something now, we’ll be the first ones to die... And now there’s another ‘invasion’ by us, and a group of modern humans suddenly appearing in Chorrol sure isn’t a part of the lore, so we don’t really know what’s going to happen.” Wow, I’ve never talked that much to someone I just met an hour ago. Well, I guess being teleported to a game world at a time you’re normally still asleep, and knowing that you’re completely [censored] up, no matter what you do, really makes you less shy.

I puzzled over this, it was a hell of a decision and we may have been running out of time, "We only need two things: Martin, and the Amulet. We can secure the amulet on our way to Kvatch, tell Jauffre that the priory isn't safe, and that he should get to Cloud Ruler Temple as soon as possible. And then...." I stopped. There really was no easy way around the second one, was there? "And then, we'll have to go to Kvatch and rescue Martin. Once we've secured him and the amulet is in a safe place, it will never be stolen, and we can just run our asses to the Temple of the One with Martin and activate the dragonfires."

It was a risky move, however. By taking longer to secure the amulet, there was a chance of losing Martin, but if they went straight to Martin, the amulet would surely be taken. "To save time, one or two might have to stay behind and make sure the amulet gets moved. Preferrably some people who can talk their way out of a paper bag, and not come off as a juvenile kid who plays videogames all day."

Alex
The teen was taken by surprise that several others had agreed with his sentiment. It seemed that some of the others were intelligent, or just watched too much science fiction like Alex. He watched quietly as the scene between the two men, one opted for telling the guards and the other wanting him to stay unfolded. Then and there, something hit the human mentally. In the Oblivion, or at least the game version of it the churches and chapels sometimes had barrels strewn about with various items located in them.
Some of which contained cheap clothing and robes, which would benefit their mission to blend in. Alex abandoned his spot a few yards from the individual called Craig and once more explored the wonders of the Chapel, this time more thoroughly. Eventually he glanced behind the 'main' shrine in the church and spotted a trio of barrels against the wall in a line. Making his way over there, he opened up one of the barrels slowly and frowned as it was empty, save for a few bits and pieces of stuff he either didn't know or forgot. It was somewhat mind-boggling that he found materials in such a manner as it was in the game.

The other two barrels were more promising, in the middle one he found a pair of what he though was green silk jeans and a tattered brown shirt along with a dirt-gray monks robe. Folding the clothes over his arm, he inspected the last barrel and discovered another robe however a lighter shade then the first one. Nodding successfully to himself, he proceeded back to the entrance of the chapel to alert the others although made it just in time to hear one of the 'others' suggest that having a young person who plays video games all day staying back and talking their way out of things would be a bad idea.
Of course, Alex agreed with the last part about the video games, but found being called a 'juvenile' rather insulting. He cleared his throat loudly as he raised his arm with the clothes folded over it.

''Hey, the juvenile kid that plays video games all day took the initiative to find some clothes.'' He sneered, almost casually as he used his free arm to pick one of the gray robes for himself as it looked his size.
Plopping the other clothes onto the bench not too far from him, Alexander then slowly put the old robe on, covering his earthen clothes effectively and adjusted the collar so it covered up the large headphones around his neck. ''If you guys wanna go out an try to save the world with no sense of what the consequences will be or any actual military training, be my guest. I on the other hand will be busy not getting ahead of myself and try to blend in as much as possible.''

(ooc: Will we be able to encounter NPC's that we, ourselves had made up? I think it'd add some fan-adoring, erm.... Diverseness moments in the world.)

As the man grabbed Craigs arm, Craig quickly flung him off, he hated being grabbed like that, held against his will - It angered him deeply. The man spouted some nonsense about Kvatch already burning, but that was impossible.. The attack took place the night of Uriels death, when everyone was asleep, he knew that because of the number of roleplays he had joined about the attack. "Uhh.. No.. I don't get it.. The invasion happens tonight." He said, taking on a confused smile. "I'm not planning on going to Kvatch, we don't need to, if we warn the guards, tell them a believable story, they'll send the Imperial army or evacuate the city, either way, the siege will be abandoned and we would've bought some time to catch the leader of the Mythic Dawn.. It makes sense, stop trying to complicate things." He added, getting rather flustered, he couldn't understand why no one agreed with him - It all made sense, the seige took place at night, while everyone was in their beds so as to catch the city off guard.

He shook his head, sighed, and returned to following the guard who was now - Quite annoyed at the hold ups.

Romeo

Once Romeo arrived at the Fighters Guild he first stood in front of a great wooden door, hold togheter with rough iron strips. "Well Romeo, lets take a look whats behind this door while pushing against the door". Once the door was opened an steel armored person came by.
"Hello Stranger, what can i do for you?"
"Could you tell me what the requirements to join the fighters guild?"
"Go to Vilena Donton, she will inform you about how and what do in order to join".
Do you know where she is?
"Yes upstairs, first floor".
"thx"
Before you go could you sign in on the guest book?
"Sure", He walked towards the book that the guard had pointed out. Once in the book the letters are english only in medieval style. "Well that is a relief....
At least I can read in this world
". While he signed in his name he looked through the other members that arrived with a date right next to it.
Sundas, Sun's Height, 27th of Last Seed, Akatosh 433. "Oh wait this date is a bit to familiar". Romeo groaned once he replayed the oblivion trailer in his mind.
"That means either the sons are alive or the king is fleeing in the sewers or the imperial city."
Nice timing idiot! His stomach turned upside down. No more intensive training for him. Just a quick gathering and continuing. I'll better inform the group after i heard out Vilena.

As Romeo walked upstairs the wooden furniture was generally placed like the one in game. Only minor changes, the fire places didn’t burn "guess it is already warm here".
Once upstairs he stumbled against an woman in iron armor.
Excuse me, are you Vilena?
"Thats right"
Could i ask a couple of questions?
“Sure”
“What are the requirements for joining the fighters guild?”
The woman looked the 23 year old boy from top to bottom. You dont look like you have done heavy work and with those clothes on I guess you lived in the city. What is it you want to do here?
"Getting a job"
"Right, well the requirements to join is to have at least a clean criminal record. We won't allow murderers or thiefs into this guild."
"Second you will do a certain amount of jobs if you want to enjoy our beds, food or armor"
"Also you can do some training or workshops at a reduced cost if you join in".

“Yea just the regurlary stuff of the fighters guild, that’s good enough to me” Romeo thought.
“Thats sounds good enough, sign me in.”

Well do you have any skill in something? Its not like we enjoying in training a bag of sand and in your case bones until it can actually do something usefull.
“I can shoot a bow”
Anything more?
Romeo hesitated, “Well, yes chemistry" Romeo said, doubting if it was good to say that.
You mean alchemy?
"blast they dont know anything about chemistry" Romeo thought.
“sort off”
“Could you show me your skill?”
“What in hell should I tell her? I could make gunpowder but that would ruin this little world with guns. Ah! Smoky bombs, easy to make and not so explosive if you don’t handle it to roughly.”

Flo
Alex got some Tamrielic clothes. “That’s good, but we still need a job and training.” Wait, do they accept children in the Guilds?
Scott said something about the Weynon Priory. Of course! If the Amulet never is stolen, there’s no problem at all! “Yeah, I haven’t thought of that. The way to the Priory shouldn’t be that dangerous. Also we might be too young to join the Guilds. We don’t know exactly what will happen, as we shouldn’t be here according to the lore, but it’s worth the risk.” I wondered how long it would take for us to get there. The distances must be longer, as this is real now. Well, we better hurry. It would be a good thing to be back in Chorrol before the invasion is starting.
Craig looked confused and said the guard would just send the Imperial Army there. Okay, first, the Imperial Army is probably located in the Imperial City, and second, the guards would be too late anyway, I thought, but I didn’t say it out loud, because I didn’t want to interfere him and Ayrton and sound like a complete [censored].
