"[censored].." He swore under his breath, quickly appologising for the mistake, he didn't like swearing in churches, something about tempting fate. He wiped his brow with his right hand and rubbed his eye, the situation had become more dire, if he recalled, all hell broke loose, "We still have time to save Kvatch." he mumbled, the idea had sprung into his head, while he didn't really see the people around him, (Other than the humans) as actual sentient beings just yet, he certainly understood tha value of Kvatch and that if they could warm them, thousands could be saved.
He was about to pitch the question to the group when he shook his head, They'd just agree it'd be a good thing to do. he thought and besides - Time was of the essence, after all.. They were going to invade, the evening the emperor died. A determined look spread across his face as he jogged towards the guard, "Excuse me." He stated, looking back quickly at the group before returning his attention to the guard, "There's going to be an attack against Kvatch, I must see the captain of the guard immediately." His words came out too quickly for him to think on, adrenaline was pumping and the guard could tell Craig wasn't joking.
Slightly taken aback, the guard slowly nodded and looked towards the castle, "Are you sure about this?" He asked, contemplating the consequences of bringing a civilian to the Captain if it was all a farse.
"Positive, tonight, Kvatch will burn." Craig replied, "I'll go get my friends, they can probably explain it better than I." he added before heading back towards the others in a hurried jog, "Hey guys! I figured we could save Kvatch, right? It'll get attacked tonight, while the amulet is not in control of an emperor, right?" He asked, not really caring for an answer, "Well, the guard over there will take us to the Captain, who will probably hear us out." It was here, as he returned back to the guard that he realised - What would happen if the Emperor wasn't actually going to die? What would happen if this wasn't going to follow Oblivion? That infact, their time here was to be perfectly peaceful? His stomach twirled into a painful knot as he contemplated the thought.
