Yea, my shoulder hurts, could you fix it? Or do i have to do something first to get my treatment????
As the eyes of the high elves twinkled; "Well how about I'll teach you how to restore your own health after i explained it"
"What is your field of interest in magic?"

Mainly Conjuration and Mysticism Romeo replied.

"Is potion making also an magical field of interest?" Romeo thought.
"Lets keep that out, once this is over with the spell casting i can still ask about it".

Flo

The woman asked us what we wanted to learn.
What am I interested in? Well, destruction's interesting, but I think conjuration is better for me. Plus here in Chorrol the conjuration classes are probably the best and if we don't figure out a way to get home, I'll be able to return here, do some advanced courses and later work for the guild while for destruction they only teach the basics here. And if learn conjuration, I won't have to fight by myself which would probably kill me after a few fights.
Again I thought of what we were doing here. We arrived today, on the Emperor's death day, so we're probably supposed to somehow help the Champion of Cyrodiil. That means we are supposed to fight these demons.

"I also mainly want to do conjuration, but I'm also interested in destruction."
We're running out of time here. I hope we'll learn enough to defend ourselves. "And, er.... do you offer something like a... a crash course. Because we've heard that Crai... er, I mean a priest of the Chapel of Stendarr has foreseen a fight near the town. We don't really know the details because we've just arrived here. Of course we'll also visit the 'normal' course after the attack is over or the forecast turns out as wrong, but we want to be prepared." [censored]! I don't know if it was very smart to say that... no it's alright, there will soon be rumors about Craig's forecast anyway and if we do the normal classes, we won't be prepared. Because as far as I understand we were brought here to do something about the invasion.
Surprisingly the woman didn't seem to be very surprised. "Oh, I haven't heard about that yet. Well, for your question: we don't have special courses, but we try to teach everyone individually; so if you learn fast enough, you'll be perfectly prepared for whatever will come.
And if there really is a big fight, the town guards, the Fighters Guild and we are going to send our best people there, so you don't have to be scared anyway.", she answered and smiled at me.
"Oh, okay. Thank you.", I answered.

I replied to the steward, "Restoration with a side of Illusion is all I need for now. Actually, I probably won't even need that much illusion...." All I was really looking for was Paralysis. There was so much you could do with a paralyzed person that wasn't possible in the game. Stealing their weapons and equipment, for example. Later down the road I might have considered getting things like charm or enrage just to completely mess with my enemies without getting into trouble with the law. Illusions were so much more effective when you have real minds to trick rather than just AI who roll a random number to decide if they fall for it or not. Given enough time, Illusion would definitely open up options for getting out of situations. Or into them.

Romeo

The high elf asked around what everybody wants to do.
"Conjuration and mysticism, how did I came up with that combination? Ah yes, I could see through walls with that mysticism. Information is everything! At least before the enemy detects you tho… I wonder why the mages here are so friendly? Maybe they have plenty of things to do to get money...." Romeo thought

The elf finished questioning Scott and begins with explaining how to cast a simple restoration spell. Romeo put all his attention to her and especially her words. There he stood with a sore shoulder, hanging on her lips. Imagining and interpreting every word as it had to be hammered into stone.

“First you begin with to concentrate on the wound, if you want to heal a target either point or touch the wound to initiate the beginning of the spell. Then imagine how the skin should look like and try to bring that up into your mind. Feel the bright light or energy that floats in you towards your arm and try pushing it out of your finger. Then you will initiate the healing itself. If you want to heal yourself hold your hand up in the sky like there is water coming down floating over you like a nice shower. Now to not get blacked out after the spell, slowly breath out, open your eyes and breath fresh air in; the elf said. If you are more advanced you can hold your eyes open. But for now try to stay up.

"Sounds easy enough. Err if its not a wound ill just concentrate on my muscles. "

While Romeo helded it hands high in the sky and thought about the wound the pain slowly ebbed away. He opened its eyes but see blurry instead.

Err does restoration have negative side effects? Romeo asked to the high elf.
The high elf turned towards Romeo;" well actually not really. It depends if you like your glasses or not."
With red cheeks he put off his glasses. “wow, I look incredibuly stupid now”.
Romeo looked around to see how good he looked after he casted the restoration spell.
Suddenly he had an idea: cast more! While going berserk with the freshly learned spell and opening his eyes after that made him a bit dissy. “At least I now am sure I have perfect eye sight!”

“Yea this spell rocks. No wonder nobody walked here with glasses. Magic is the way to be!”; Romeo said out loud.

The Altmer lady turned to me. She explained how to shoot a small ball of fire. She said that all I must do is concentrate, think of nothing but the fire ball, and visualize it. I tried it out, but I all I was able to do was spark a flame the size of what you'd find on a candle.

"Not a bad start." She said. I grinned, I knew she was just humoring me, it was a pathetic casting.

"Is there any place we can practice?" I asked her.

"Well, most spells you a free to practice in the guild halls," she said. "But for spells that can be damaging, such as those in destruction, are encouraged to be practiced out back." She replied.

OOC: Sorry for the short post, I'm quite busy.

Ayrton

So, Magic isn't as hard as we had thought it was going to be... I speak directly to the Altmer lady, "Do you mind if I try to create a Fire ball?"
"Of course not, go ahead."
Okay, first focus on the area for the flame. I held my hand in front of my chest as if I was holding a basket ball. Next imagine the heat forming in your hands and let it ignite into a flame. "Wow! I can feel the magical energy being put into my hands!" Woops said that out loud. I focus again. Pull in... I feel the energy pulsate...
"And Ignite!" There was a small whooshing sound as a small flame appeared into my hands. 'Whoa!" I hold my hands steady. "What now?" This is seriously cool!
"Since you have it, you might as well throw it. Try aiming at one of those targets." Ah, no explanation on how to throw the burning ball?
"alright." I look at the closest target. Approximately... five or six meters away. I focus on the fireball again. I think of it going to the target.
"Go!" I semi-shout pushing my right hand forwards towards the target. The fireball moved lazily threw the air. "What the-?" It hit! Well at least it singed it a little!
"Don't worry, eventually it will gain better speed." I hope eventually is before three days.
"Alright!" I pull my arm down in a weird victory pump. "Martin!" I almost shouted at Martin, "Lets go to the back! Even if every person here learns restoration, it won't help in the slightest if we can't damage the enemy!"
I grab Martin's arm and begin to drag him to the back.

OOC: Come with me Martin, join the dark side! Lol.

When Ayrton dragged Martin to the back, the woman ran into another room. When she had come back a minute later, she turned to Romeo and me and said, “Your conjuraton teacher will be here soon. While we’re waiting,” she turned to me. “you could also try to throw a fireball. Do it just like I’ve explained it to your friends: Visualize the fireball and think of where it should be; then imagine it shooting in the target’s direction and shoot it.” So I did. I tired to concentrate, but the noise of all the other practicing students distracted me. Eventually I got a fireball. It grew bigger and bigger until it reached to my fingers. I tried to move it a few centimeters away, but it stayed at its location. “Ouch, damn!”, I shouted and the ball shrinked to a radius of two centimeters. I tried to ignore my pulsating hand and throw the fireball. It flew towards the target with a normal speed.

“Good,” the woman said “but you have to stop earlier. An apprentice can move the fireball just a bit; but you can just keep it in your hand, or you can throw it.” She turned to Scott. “You said you wanted to learn restoration. Come on, here’s your chance.” she said to him and pointed at my hand. “Just like I had explanied it to him: ” She pointed at Romeo. “Point to his wound and imagine what the skin should look like. Then try pushing the energy in your arm out of your finger.”

Romeo

Being a bit dizzy of his casting, Romeo leaned against a pillar of the building and observed around a bit seeing what is going on.

Martin and Ayrton moved towards the practise range once martin created his candle light.
In the practise range Ayrton tried to create his fireball.
"Wow! I can feel the magical energy being put into my hands!" he said.
Then a flame ball ignited on the palm of his hands.
Seeing the flame dancing on his hand was fascinating, it was red with a orange glow that spread engolfed the surroundings.

“Yea I had that to, I guess we will get addicted to this stuff.” Romeo replied.

Being in this oblivion world Romeo begins to enjoy this realm, even if there is grave problems ahead. “At least I don’t have to carry glasses.”
His thoughts are interrupted as Ayrton throwed a small size fireball towards the wooden targets. It didn’t flew in a straight line, but its defiantly a hit.
His enthousiasm growed, if magic is based on thought he could just think about some things and casted on his own.
It might require some practise tho.

The high elf returned said a conjuration mage will teach me and Flo some new spells.

"Wow these guys are really friendly".

OOC: ill be off for only 6 days (vacation). Just keep writing so i have plenty of stuff to read ^^.

Scott

I wasn't as much of a natural with resto as the other guys were. I focused some energy into my back, which got notoriously sore most nights due to chronic video game playing whilst hunched over a keyboard. Just to be creative, I imagined all the muscles in my back becoming rejuvenated and all the vertebrae aligning perfectly. This worked a little to help my muscles relax, and a quick stretch was rewarded with several satisfying cracks. As I opened my eyes, my vision blacked out for just a moment before returning, followed by intense vertigo, as though I had stood up too fast. I was used to this feeling, being often too tall for my own good, and braced myself on the nearest object (a sturdy bookshelf) while I blinked and shook my head.

The side effects didn't seem to end there, though. I felt....hungry, I guess? Not hungry for food, but still hungry. My body craved something it had never needed before, and as I felt my energies slowly flooding back into my body, I remembered that Restoration was based off of Willpower. Incidentally, I am the sort of person who procrastinated his homework on a fairly regular basis and missed more than a few meals because of video games or mid-day napping.

Just for kicks, I tried it again. This time, I did a bit better, and though I could feel my magicka returning at an agonizingly slow pace, I did notice that the strange draining feeling wasn't very strong. I was able to practice it multiple times without feeling like I needed a break, and by the end, my spinal column was feeling great. My eyes were already basically perfect, though, so I didn't need to do much there. I considered trying to fix my slightly crooked teeth, but decided against it at least until I was a bit more experienced.

ooc: Hey guys, I'm back now, wondering where everyone has gotten to - Any news of Elionwy?

ic:
Craig waved goodbye to the guard as he continued his patrol, as he watched the soldier walk away, he couldn't help but feel a sense of being lost. What was he to do now? He was lost in a world that was alien to him. He was in the company of those he didn't know - And he certainly didn't care to know one or two of them. He looked towards the great gates that would open out to the lands of Cyrodiil, a world full of magic, adventure and danger. He frowned and thought how easy it would be to just step through them and forget the others, maybe hitch a ride into the Imperial City or one of the villages and get a job as a farm hand; after all, he'd always wanted to live in this era.

He sighed as he began to realise that he couldn't just leave them to themselves, they all had hopes of being wizards and so forth and probably or killing minotaurs or whatever was out there.. Hell, he assumed they were willing to kill human beings. They're only going to get themselves killed. he thought glumly, the idea of baby sitting people didn't quite excite him, Or maybe a kick between the legs would do them good. he added, debating on whether or not he should go along with them, it wasn't a decision to take lightly - One on hand, he'd be stuck with a group of minors, all of them wanting to be the next emperor of Cyrodiil and on the other, he'd be free to live his life and find out more about his situation as time went on.

He looked away from the gates and stared at the statue of the woman holding the fallen soldier, his mind had gone blank of answers, he was at an impass - Unsure of the direction he should go in. He bit his lip in frustration before reaching into his pocket and retrieving his iPod. If there was ever a possession that he treasured the most, it was his iPod, he had been given it as a birthday gift and since then, he'd loaded all 160 gigs worth of space with music, podcasts and movies. He smiled slightly as he noticed it's full battery and how it was ready to play his favourite track by Armin Van Buuren. As the song began to play, he felt like wondering around the town, his fingers by his side, tapping gently to the beat.

He started to feel calmer, he no longer worried about the group and concentrated on the place around him, each detail of the building, every crack in the bark of a tree and every colour in the flowers. He also noticed the people around him, of their strange clothes and general attire. He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, becoming more relaxed with every step he took.

Flo

After I had thrown a few fireballs, they were getting faster, almost having the speed of the first in-game fireball now. They also burned only the targets instead of my hand now.

After a short while the conjuration teacher arrived.
“Ah, Alberic, you’re here. These two are your students.” The woman pointed to Romeo and me. “Okay, I’ll leave you three alone now,” she said and walked to Scott to help him with his healing spells.
Wait— Alberic? That’s the original conjuration teacher from the game... Well, I guess he sure is a good teacher if he’s important enough to appear in the game. Maybe the story writers of Bethesda recieved a telepathical message from Akatosh, listing the hundred most important people from Cyrodiil.
“Greetins, I am Alberic Litte, your new conjuration teacher. What are your names?” “I... I’m Flo.”, I said, still impressed to see him in real. He looks just like in the game, the graphic artists did a great job there!

“Okay, so you want to learn conjuration.
Good, first we’ll do the basics: To conjure something, you must close your eyes and imagine that you’re in a plane of Oblivion: Mehrunes Dagon’s Deadlands, Sheogorath’s Shivering Isles, Malacath’s Ashpit, Boethia’s Attribution’ Share, Molag Bal’s Coldharbor, Meridia’s Colored Rooms, Hircine’s Hunting Grounds, Hermaeus Mora’s Apocrypha, Azura’s Moonshadow, Namira’s Scuttling Void, Peryite’s Pits, Clavicus Vile’s unnamed realm, one of Sanguine’s realms, Vaermina’s Quagmire, Nocturnal’s realm or Mephala’s Web.” I shrugged when he mentioned Mehrunes Dagon. “In front of that background, imagine an object from that realm. We’ll start with weapons and armor, since conjuring living creatures is an advanced technique. Now open your eyes, but keep holding that picture in your mind. Then you let go your vision of the realm, but still keep the picture of the object; put the object’s picture where you want it and release it.” He made a short break and continued:
“Okay, the easiest thing to conjure is a little dagger. Try it!”

I closed my eyes. Okay: First a deadric realm... I guess I’ll go with the Shivering Isles, that’s the only realm I can imagine besides the Deadlands. And I’m not sure I’d feel so good taking advantage of Mehrunes Dagon’s forces... okay, imagine some fort. Good, that works. Now I need a dagger... are there any daggers on the Shivering Isles... Of course that apostle dagger. Okay, let’s say it’s lying on the staircase.
I felt like I was taken to the Isles. I was standing in front of a huge fort with a tiny dagger lying on the also huge stairs. I took a few steps towards it. Wow, I can even walk around! But this isn’t as I had imagined it. While I’m a novice, I have to fight with that dagger, or what? Wait, what if... Suddenly I had an idea. Yeah, that’s brilliant. I transported myself back in the pracise room and moved the picture of the
apostle dagger over one of the targets with the tip looking down. Then I released it. It fell down and pierced the target. After that it immediately disappeared.

Alberic Litte looked at me with a slight grin. “Clever idea, but you have to consider that a real enemy will be able to see your conjured object as soon as you ‘leave’ Oblivion, so you need much luck to beat someone like that. And for the disappearing, just keep practicing. That will get better real fast.”

Martin

Ayrton and I practiced for a while. I decided to try shooting a fire ball at a target that was set up. Okay, Martin. Focus. Visualize it like in the game...You can do this. I released a deep breath, held my hands out like they we clutching an invisible ball from the back, concentrated, and tried to visualize a burning ball of fire between them. I saw it. It was certainly larger than the one from earlier. It was getting bigger. And bigger. And bigger. And bigger. I was in awe at just how big I was able to get it. I was so in awe that I forget to throw it, so the fire engulfed both my hands. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! [censored]!" I shouted. Right after I shouted that the flame disappeared. My hands were burned. Severely burned. I couldn't move them at all. I was in too much pain to do much of anything. I was just barely able to mutter to Ayrton. "Get me help...Pl...Please..."

Ayrton

As soon as I reached the practicing range I became serious. I dropped my smile and focused. There is absolutely no point in getting over excited and burning myself. Brrr I shiver. They say that when you shiver someone is talking about you... or a ghost walked through you, but we can see ghosts here...
After several casts I noticed my fire was moving slightly faster, but I feel drained. I feel exhausted, not physically or mentally but something else.
I look sideways. Martin is building another ball. It's getting too big!
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! [censored]!" Martin screamed in pain. He fell and muttered, just barely through clenched teeth, "Get me help...Pl...Please..."
I ran up and saw instantly that these were third-degree burns, maybe worse if possible, nothing to be joking about. I looked up at the others, the teacher had left and now they were practicing conjuration. I looked around, the time of day would suggest more mages, but there were none in destruction. "Hold tight, try not to move your hands." I ran towards the conjuration teacher.
"Holy crap!" I ran into the practicing area where one of the two just spawned a freakin dagger in front of my face! "Shouldn't do that!" I said to myself about going into the training area. I ran over to the teacher. Well if it isn't Alberic himself! "Excuse me!" I sort of shouted. I take a breath just so I don't appear to be freaking out, that is important after all, if I was, he'd think I was disoriented. "My friend has burnt himself badly over in the destruction area, I have not practiced healing so could you please come and help?"
"Of course! We should hurry. You two practice on your own for a minute." We both run towards Martin.
"His hands" I say. Alberic doesn't hesitate, he puts out his hands towards Martin and just stands there for one second. One second only. He then begins to glow around his hands, a sky blue light twists in spirals around his arms and then around Martin. Tears in his eyes, Martin looks at his hands as they seem to cool back into place.
"Thank-you!" I breath outward letting out my unconsciously held-in breath. Alberic looks at me and smiles "No problem! Be careful about the size of your attacks and your body!" and he walks back to those learning conjuration.
"Ha,maybe we should wait for... yah that guy, uh, girl" I point towards a destruction teacher. I know its a destruction teacher because of the black cloak she wore, or rather the flames that surrounded the hems of her cloak. That and she was walking towards us with the aura of a teacher. The real learning starts now.

After Alberic had said that, Ayrton ran up to us, screaming that Martin had burnt himself badly. I wanted to ask how that has happened, but Ayrton and Alberic immediately ran away to Martin.
I looked at my own hand. Fortunately I was more sensitive than Martin and screamed earlier, so my hand almost wasn’t hurt at all. I looked in their direction to see how Martin was doing. He’s already stood up again. Wow! Should be pretty impossible to die here if everything’s healable. Well, I guess we’re all gonna do our best during the invasion.

I tried not to think of the invasion and tried to visualize the home fort of the Golden Saints with one of that golden shortswords lying on a table. Again I felt like I was torn away to another dimension. I triend to take it, but everything except for the floor was just gas. Right. I have to take the picture of the sword with me in the practise room and meke it solid there. So I did. When I was finished, Alberic was back.
I walked up to him when I suddenly felt something tickle my hand. The sword was dissolving.“Keep thinking of your sword, or it’ll go away!”, I heard Alberic call. Okay. Keep thinking of the sword. And when I thought of the sword began to materialize again. I turned to Alberic again and asked, “While I’m walking around in that... picture... where am I? Is that really Oblivion?”
“No, it’s a world that exists only in your imagination, commuting between Mundus and a Deadric realm of your choosing. As you’ve surely noticed, all the objects there aren’t made of any matter—they’re pure power, the power of the ruler of the realm.” “Ah, that’s interesting.” I didn’t really listen to him, because I tried to think of the shortsword in my hand all the time. So I guess to let it go I have to stop thinking about it. But it was still there when looked a few seconds later. “Huh, what the...?” Suddenly Alberic began talking again: “It’s not that easy to control your thoughts. Sometimes you don’t even notice them. Try to think of something different, instead of trying to stop thinking.” “Okay.” I wanted to follow his advice, but appearently the sword had already disappeared a minute ago when I was beginning listening to him.

Ayrton ran up the hill and found Alberic. They came down the hill together and Ayrton exclaimed about my hands. Alberic did not hesitate to heal me. Within seconds I was perfectly fine. We thanked Alberic as he walked back up to hill to continue teaching the class where he left off. I turned to Ayrton "Wow, that's amazing. I feel fine now....Well, haha, I guess we should continue practicing."

I just came back from Berlin on sunday evening. So yeah, where is everybody?

Flo

“See? When you were beginning listening to me, your thoughts about the sword disappeared, and the sword with them. Just keep practicing.” He smiled.
Wow, I’d never have thought that magic can feel so... so real, I thought. I wanted to try again, but I couldn’t get in the picture anymore, so I sat down on a nearby chair.
I felt how my magicka was slowly coming back into my body. When it stopped, I felt much stronger than before.
I stood up and closed my eyes, but this time I came back with a magic staff; I turned towards the target and shot lightnings at it until the staff’s charge was empty.
Then I turned to Ayrton and Martin who had continued practicing. When I turned away, the staff was gone and my magicka was back, but I was tired and thirsty, so I decided to sit down a bit.
After a while, Alberic said, “If you’re hungry or thirsty, you can go out there,” he pointed to a door. “and then turn right and take the first door to the left. That’s our dining room. There you can get a little snack or something to drink for 10 septims. Water’s free.” “Okay, thank you!” I went to the room where I was greeted by a friendly woman: “Hello, you must be one of that kids who have arrived today. Just say what you want.” “I don’t have any money, so I’ll just have s bottle of water, please.”, I answered. “Sure, here you go!”, the woman said and smiled when I went back to the practise room.
--
ooc: on grote boze wolf's suggestion I deleted two things from the conjuration instructions:
- having to bring stuff back to Oblivion when you're an expert
and
- being able to connect with yourself instead of Oblivion, and thus killing yourself by taking too much energy from your body.
He also mentioned that we, as complete strangers, are getting free lessons. I think we should treat these as an exam to test if we qualify to join the guild.

Romeo

While the dizziness drained away. He leaned silently against the wooden pillar looking around the practise room what everyone did.
Once the high elf had brought the conjuration teacher, she immediately left.
After the explanation of how to conjure up things Romeo mouth fell wide open. So i have to:
- To conjure something: imagine a plane of a oblivion
(background), picture in a weapon or creature.
- Keep seeing the weapon, and point out where you want it. (so you can also summon an object above a target).
- Keep thinking of your object/creature or it disappears.

“It is basically is casting a creature and keep thinking about it or else it disappears.”

Romeo felt a bit uncomfortable "I have to keep thinking about the sword otherwise it dissolves, and since my thought is occupied I can not do anything else like fighting. I guess multitasking comes around this field of magic."
Still being tired of the restoration spell frenzy he searched a chair and sat down on it.
Being in an observer mode, Romeo noticed that Flo managed to cast a little dagger above the head of a wooden target. First it formed a little grey like gas cloud that took the shape of the dagger. Then it materialized and fell down.
"Why not casting an anvil above the targets head? That would do the job for sure..." while giggling about his own thought.
"But wouldn’t they be suspicious about it when a gas cloud would become solid above their head? Unless its dark! Hmm that tactic might be useful."
Suddenly he got interrupted out of his thoughts as Aryton run into the room shouting for help.

After what seemed for him like a catastrophic accident turned out to be a little accident. "well you can't tell that to other people in a real world; still having your limbs after a third degree burning" ;He tought.

By now Flo managed to summon up a golden short sword. Romeo thought about the weapon seller in shivering isles. "Please look at my wares but be quick! Oh shoot now its gone.... "
And the same short sword dissolves in his hand as it was formed.

Oke my post (big post), now a small heads up for the RP'ers up here.

Stuff needs to be talked about in terms of magic. We now make up partially up from the guidelines elowyn posted earlier. They way it now works is ok but what are the limits of magic? I liked the ideas of how to cast restoration and conjuration. Maybe if you post your field of magic (conjuration, illusion, destruction etc) in the beginning put in bold concept as it might change.
Then we have people falling behind, in short terms you could say everybody who did not headed towards the mages guild. Except Graig (uglius maximus) who still posts regularly

And a small point i discussed with Flo. We (as strangers) got into the mages guild, right away. No background check and offer us a free teaching of spells and food.

My suggestion:
After this we get a test? (its a proposal)
They have seen our potential and will give us a small problem we need to work out and then we get some sort of exam.

Elionwy havent responded yet (in 3 weeks now). It might be possible she/he is offline. If that happens how do we want to continue? Do we point out a new RP master? or is it more like a republic ^^ (someone does do a suggestion)?

OOC: Sorry had HUGE internet and viral troubles, all sorted out now!

Ayrton
Gah, this just isn't easy! I can only get two or three small attacks in! I close my eyes, it's a little easier when I do. Focus! Feel the flame ignite in my hand... I open my eyes and only a small spark had been created. "That's it. I'm taking a break." I walk over to one of the plain benches just beyond the Training Grounds. Martin attempts to create another Fireball. "Augh... I don't feel physically tired or even mentally tired. I just feel... loss. What was there isn't. It probably has to do with the fact that I' trying to draw on some sort of energy that actually resides in another place, sort of like a mirror of us only different by the energies used. In this realm, or flip side it's physical energy and life force, built with molecular compounds created by everything else. If we erased trees, all organisms that need oxygen would eventually die out. So that means in this other realm, the other side of our coin runs on the Magicka that we use to create matter and life forces, which in turn means that if we ever lost the Magicka flip side of our world we'd... Holy crap!" I jump up quickly. "That means if ended up using all our Magicka, our physical forms would be erased! If we use all the Magicka we wouldn't have anything to sustain our form!" Wait. Maybe I'm thinking way to much. I start mumbling again. "The only problem is that once we use a certain amount of our Magicka, we have large troubles connecting to it. Therefore, to use up our entirety of magicka, one would have to be completely under the control of another and be forced to use it against their will." I sit back down, I seriously need to stop thinking of random things...

OOC: I wonder if what I did just there was alright... Anyway, I want to introduce a new person, completely new "NPC" so to speak, I figure this is alright in this type of RP right?
Boze, I like your idea of having a test quickly. Probably before this thread is ended XD but anyway, each person will have to actually have problems with this test okay, We can't just breeze through it! And I hope Elionwy comes back, if they don't I propose we do this together, I think that everybody should have a say in the matter. Anyway it's someone else turn now!

Romeo

After complementing Flo for his succesfull conjuration. Alberic turned to him: "Do you want to give a shot at a conjuration spell?"
Romeo nodded and stood up. He felt somehow fresh but not quite.
In his mind he practised the steps and then tried it for real. A gas-cloud started to swirl around his hand, It formed slower compared to Flo. It remained a cloud for some time.
"You might want to look at your and and imagine how it would feel and look in your hands" Alberic replied to Romeo. Once Romeo followed his instructions, the dagger formed in his hand.
"Arrrr, now i have to think of it; dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger, dagger......"
Alberic saw Romeo's face looking awfully concentrated as if the boy was afraid it will lose his dagger.
Alberic: "Romeo, look at me and think about the dagger for a while." Romeo's head slowly turned towards the teacher.
"Now what is 2+2-3+4-5?".

"Eh, 0?"
And the dagger dissolved in his hands. "Argh, now i can start over from scratch" while slapping his hands on his head
"you need to practise more into that. But you know how to begin."

"Flo, how do you concentrate that easy?"

OOC: ok my suggestion (i hope some of us are still alive).
About the quick test (if everybody agrees). All gather up in the mages dining room, there a teacher will announce the test (also they find our clothes a bit to strange so we get/earn apprentice-robes?)
About the ones not in the mages guild, after dinner we can go out of the guild and find the others, help them where needed or they stumble upon us or we go to an inn and have a small drink there (alcohol is not allowed in the mages guild?)

few suggestions, someone is next.

Flo

“Flo, how do you concentrate that easy?” I turned to Romeo, “Uhhm, well, I don’t know, I just try to imagine the dagger where I want it until I feel like it’s there; then I release it.”
I drank some of the water and made a short break. After that I tried again with a short sword. When I had it in my hand, I said to myself, okay, this time keep it longer.
Alberic turned to me, “Okay, let’s try that with you, too. What is 2 + 9 - 5 + 7 - 11?” While he said that, I stared at my sword all the time. Damn, don’t let it go, you have to think of it all the time. After 20 seconds I answered, “It’s 2.”
The sword was still there but I felt how it was somehow torn away from me during the calculation. I tried to concentrate on it again. I hit one of the targets a few times, then the sword disappeared. “Phew!”

That sounds good. Also I think after that it's time to start a new day. The ones not in the mages guild could rent a room in a inn (someone sure will pay us much money for our strange old clothes ;)) and the ones who joined the mages guild sleep there. If Eilonwy doesn't come back, I think we should do this together, so everyone's got a say.

I still have writer's block, so I allowed grote boze wolf to write something for my character. This is an unedited copy and paste.

After his hands got healed by Alberic his body gave him some sort of rest. The same thing you get if you walked 40 miles and took a seat in a comfortable chair or when a piece of dirt that tortured your eyes for 4 hours straight and you finally managed to get it out.
Alberic looks at Arython and smiles "No problem! Be careful about the size of your attacks and your body!" while looking serious to Martin.

I turned to Ayrton "Wow, that's amazing. I feel fine now....Well, haha, I guess we should continue practicing."
“Never ever again a fully charged up fireball.” He thought. “I guess I am lucky.
After closing his eyes and checking his finger he concluded he wasn’t suffering from phantom pain either. “hmm could you have phantom pain? It would be horrible if your arms were severely damaged, took a full hit by a frost or fireball and after you get patched up you still feel the pain all over your body. Then magic-victims would be at the end of there lives stressed out. Or not.”

"Ha,maybe we should wait for... yah that guy, uh, girl" Arython pointed towards a destruction teacher. Martin looked up and saw a woman in the 30’s with pointed ears in a black cloak. Here outfit made here skin somewhat whiter then it is. On the edge of here cloak she had small flames. “you know I almost would say those flames pictures are actually burning when she moves.”

The woman approached the duo with an air of great pomposity, head held high.
“It is rude to point at someone else, isn’t it?” The elf started.
Arython started, stammering, " “Ehh… Yes, yes it is”
“Its just your cloak is very beautifull, your flames are lifelike.” Martin filled in.
The elf was surprised by the compliment.
“You two are new here, isn’t it”
Eh eh yes Ma’m.
Martin felt a bit humiliated by the tone she spoke to him.
“Well we came here today and got lessons right away“
Well well, while frowning.
The high elf didn’t said a word to the duo and walked straight to Alberic. With a short nod towards Alberic, the mage followed her like a beaten dog to what it seems like an official room.

He felt himself a bit cold and uncomfortable. “this can’t be good.”
“agreed”.
Ill warn the others. Martin replied quickly
