Becoming a Crysis2 Pro.

I remembered when I first played this game's MP, I was getting $#!+ed on. But now I seem to grasp all the suit powers using them to their full potential. I don't just cloak using those 3 noob module's hoping someone will pass my line of sight so I can easily get a kill. I actually use all the modules for all my classes including the default ones. I seem to be ripping people apart in 1 v 1 encounters. While he's using the cloak enhanced 3 module trying to get a bead on me, I'm running circles around him, super jumping all over the place to make myself a hard target while their desperately trying to ADS at this fast moving, jumping, blur. Don't get me wrong, stealth works at times and can get u killed at times, ever try shooting someone out of cloak? You become a 1-2 hit kill if that happens. Armor mode also has its advantages too. Someone got the drop on you? Turn on Armor mode. It gives you just a little bit more time to survive and react. Only gripe I have with Armor mode is the fact that in order for it to be fully effective is that you have to have full energy. Power mode is underrated, but I will show these cloaking noobs how its used when they see a running, power jumping blur that is hard to hit when ADS. Who else has become a pro at this game, and please share your experience as to how you think and what you did/do to achieve this status. Sitting in a corner cloaked is not pro, winning 1v1,1v2,1v3 engagements is.

Bring It, and stop trolling my thread. I asked for other people's experiences as to what makes them pro, and you have to make a 12 year old comment. Your probably one of those noobs that thinks he's pro using energy transfer, cloak enhance, mobility enhance, sitting in a corner. Sure I use those module's, but not in that noob set-up.

yeah this game definitely gets easier... it seems the more you rank up, the more you are rewarded. i've only had this game a week or so now, but now that i'm used to the controls and have found my own play-style, i find myself getting MVP much more often!

using energy transfer, stealth enhance, mobility enhance, does not make you a noob i run this set up alot, i'll use other as well but this is the best set up for a run and gunner like myself, you kill some one get some energy back and keep moving. if you say i'm a noob for using this set up then why am i ranked 9th for skill kills and the top 20 for wins and kills right now. Your jump style will work on a lot of people, i'll jump then cloak to get out of a spot then come back and kill the person shooting at me. one last thing why whould they use mobility enhance if their going to sit in a corner??.

I use the same set up myself, how it makes you a noob is beyond me mate, you have to earn it to use it. You can't sit in a corner with it any way, your not using it right if you do and you won't kill anyone at all. It's all about running around like a maniac and killing people. I seriously don't know why you can be called out for using one of the main components of the game.

Anyone who calls themselves a "pro" is asking for trouble. I'm not saying the OP isn't good, he probably is. But different players have different styles. I've seen players with that "noob setup" go 23/1 and I've seen some players just be happy to get 3 kills and no deaths in one match, 'cos it keeps their KDR high.

@Crybaby:- think what you are saying before you say it, you may upset people. Or if you believe you are that good go 1-1 with j_b_b123. Oh, and it's not trolling to criticise a respondent for ctiticising your post.

I use that "noob" setup and have got 4 25-0's in IA, many more 25-1's and normally go at least 25-5. Currently have a rising 4.05 k/d and 3.1 w/l

But im not pro, i'm just a noob because I use the horrific, terrifying setup you mentioned :-(

Did I ever say I'm a pro MLG player that wants to go 1v1 with the community? No. I stated that after playing this game for so long it has given me skills to become a veteran at this game, so I feel like a pro basically, and wanted other people's opinions as to what experience made them feel like a pro. I still run and gun with my module set-up, and I still manage to get 25-3 some matches without using any of those 3. People who use that set-up want to stay cloaked longer or run longer distances all while getting easy kills. I don't know about you guys but I like a little challenge in my MP, and not feel like I always have an advantage over everyone else. Thing about noobs is they always defend the fact that what their using is legit, but don't realize that their having their hand held with set-ups like the ones I've mentioned. That set-up is OP and everyone that doesn't use it agrees. Why do you think Crytek nerfed the mobility enhance and energy transfer module. I rest my case.

So because they nerfed them it's ok to use now is it? Thanks for that, I'll sleep that bit better tonight knowing that we have your blessing. Cheers :)

The worst thing about this forum isn't the non replies that you get from the mods or the fact that I have to clear cookies every time I want to log in, it's the huge amount of ego-centric, willy waving self posturing kids that are on here. I thought you had to be over 18 to get on this forum in maturity at least.

Wow, you really are trying to start a flame war aren't you. I have my opinions, so what. I'll make it quick an simple, I was asking the community what makes them feel like a pro player for crysis because I feel I am skilled at this game already. I don't use that module set-up because I don't have to. I still get a 3:1 ratio anyway, and i just think its nooby to use. But that's my opinion and that's not what I asked. Now if that's immaturity to be trying to ask other people for their views on how they play then u sir are an idiot.

No I'm not trying to start a flame war, just stating the obvious.

It strikes me that everyone else here thinks the OP is just an excuse for a 'look at me thread' as no one has bothered replying to it have they? You went out of your way to call out a particular set up which is fine, but you should expect people to reply to it should you not. If someone replied to your post that they had that particular set up and they had 25-0 match then you would just of called them a noob, so it wasn't going to be a discussion was it, it was going to be you saying how **** everyone else was.

Idiot I am. Sir I am not.

Im done trying to have a discussion with this community when the first response I get is "you think your better then me" and then ridiculed just for my opinion, never really getting any real intelligent response stating what you do to dominate. I guess most people in this community complain(CRYSIS svckS) and use those 3 modules to play better.

@crybaby: I did try to point out to you that you had phrased it wrong. So, if you're "done with this community" it seems your ID is appropriate.

If, however, you want to know what I use to dominate, then I will use every possible item in my inventory, from playing with really good players, so I get a chance for some easier kills, to cloaking and performing triple-salko's if necessary.

BTW, the only thing that makes a noob a noob is the rank he's at, and even then not always so, since they may have played on a different account.

It seems the only thing you are missing from your "pro" status is a little thought process

Well for my first 50 levels I used a different setup entirely,

Amour Enhance III
Cover Ops III
Weapon Pro III

Scarab (Extended Mag)

This setup actually worked pretty well, you could just run around constantly in Armour mode and it was easy to win most of the 1 on 1 firefights I got into, managed to average a 2.5 k/d in this setup and thats when I was newer to the game. Using Covert Ops III along with my turtlebeach headset allowed me to hear people creeping up on me in stealth and generally the setup was quite cool.

I was getting annoyed at the Stealthies and I heard people talking about the "Stealth Build" so for my next reboot I went with it to try it out and used that for 1~50 it is also quite cool, at first I averaged about the same performance as my armour build but then as I learned the build I was able to progess into constant 3~4+ k/d's whether this was through change in build or just me getting better or a mixture of both im not sure :P

currently on 2nd reboot might change setup again but yeh Stealth build isn't n00b, only if your using an armor build or w/e then it is annoyin as crap but I guess every setup has to have its balance..
