ED-E becoming hostile? : Fallout: New Vegas

Ok, so I just beat Dead Money. I went to go back to Primm to get ED-E as my follower once more, but I get there and he's hostile. Is this a glitch or something?

Samething happened to me after I completed Dead Money. I arrived in Primm to have him travel with me, then he opened fire on me.

same here. anyone has a workaround ? so paying for and playing this bad DLC just prevent me from using EDE anymore ? is it a joke ??

WTF! If this is the case, I shall NOT buy Dead Money until they resolved the problem with a new patch. Lucky, I using PC, BTW. ~Phew! :whistling:

the problem was prior to dead money. I think it's tied to the length of time you let EDE in Prim. problem is that you need THIS much time to play dead money...

Gee...so much trouble just to get the new DLC and s_h_i_t happens. Hope to see it fixed with a patch ASAP. :brokencomputer:

It happened to me without the DLC.

Me as well. I unlocked EDE as companion, left him EDE in Primm, when I went back sometime EDE was hostile.

If this was pre-existing than why wasn't it fixed in the patch? It's a kinda big bug.

One good note is that he never upgraded after his quest for me and when I go back he's upgraded now.

i never had this problem before the patch, only afterwards, if that helps narrow things down.

I'm playing on a pc and also had probs with ED-E going Rambo on the Nashs after parking him in Primm for a few days. It's well documented in http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/ED-E wiki article, along with a few workarounds.
