Becoming Morrowind

Post » Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:51 pm

This might seem odd, but i've been playing a lot of oblivion lately and i mean a lot....
Im finding myself wanting to quick travel to the nearest guild. Im not sure if its from the lack of sleep,
or if i just love the game all that much more....

Anyways to get to the point what would your in life guild be..( morrowind related and im not to
sure if the gun club counts as a fighters guild reference)

Well if your already a cold blooded assassin killing people you would likely have no compunction about killing other assassins. And if you had some you'd probably be disciplined enough by that stage to ignore them :gun: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

More likely than not, I'd be in the Mages guild. Not only would I have issues taking people down since I'm 5'7" and not muscular, I'd have way too many moral implications even with killing a bandit. I see things for what they can be, and the potential they possess, so taking a life would be pretty-much the worst thing I could do, in my own "morals system". At least in the Mages guild I could study things that would help me benefit humanity, like restoration.

Thats another reason i would be a mage, i'd have serious trouble having to kill someone, i might manage it if hes trying to kill me and has already hurt me but it'd take a lot for me to actually kill someone. I'd probably learn Alteration or illusion to stop them without hurting them

I'd be a bounty hunter, hunting the wanted by taking them alive, or taking their life...
With my bad ass katana's (made for dual wielding)...I know kendo...so that matches well.
私の刀は、私の神です。
Yeah, when it comes to humans...I don't really care THAT much...

But when it comes to little fat penguins...I couldn't hurt them if they were chewing my arm off! XD

I'm just like you, minus the magic part. I'd still be in the Fighter's Guild, wielding a claymore, but I'd spend my time trying to use it non-lethally.

Wait, what? How do you use a Claymore non lethally? Do you cut your food with it? :P

Actually it would be a good weapon for that. (EDIT: by that I mean both cutting food and neutralizing enemies) Light low slashes to trip lightly armored opponents, and for your heavily armored opponents, it's even easier, because you can spare yourself the difficulty of holding yourself back.

EDIT 2: Plus it's a big sword. Most people don't like big sharp objects.

Mages guild without a doubt. How cool would it be to learn how to levitate, breath under or walk on water, or instantly heal yourself? B)

You know this is actually a hard question.

If I was born in the world of TES I really would have no clue what I'd be.

I consider myself fairly inteligent and I'm overall a very quick learner so a mage would a be a option.

On the other hand I earn my daily living as a soldier I a commander of my own unit and have been to Afghanistan and Iraq so fighting is in my blood and I have killed people before so both a fight and assassin's guild would be an option.

Maybe something along the way of a spellsword would fit me?

Thieves guild is what I would like as I can walk like a cat and that scares the [censored] out of people. ( I'd never conisider it in real life but the penaltys aren't so bad in tamriel ) But considering I'm 6 feet tall and barely in my teens, Fighters guild seems like the best choice. Although I'm an A student and a rapid learner, magic is also plausible...
