I am on a random quest to kill a werewolf in a dungeon right now,The thing is,I want him to infect me with his disease. I want to become a werewolf, UESP.net said this

"When you are injured by a lycanthrope, there is a chance of 0.6% that you will contract the disease."

Wow,Okay so i saved just before i met the werewolf and right now i am just letting him attack me,Then if i die or if i kill him i load the save again.. Got any advice?
I should have bring some healing potions right? also another questions,Where can i get healing potions? I have never found any healing potions,And no shops sell them,Not even alchemist. I have heard they are selling them in temples but then you need to join them to buy D:

Or you can do the Companions quest line and they make you a werewolf...Easy because i HONESTLY don't think that a werewolf can infect you but if I'm wrong I'm wrong

You can make potions too if you have the ingredients, but other than that I think temples are the only option (or does the mages guild sell them too?). Having a heal spell would work too, unless you can't cast anything. You could just wait until you do a dungeon dive in a dungeon that's full of werewolves, then you can rest a bunch and keep finding them.

Okay maybe impossible to get the disease by just meeting one werewolf? And good to have some potions and be prepared. Thanks for the tip!

You end up with the Dark Brotherhood on your tail if you do... y'know... Werewolf stuff like innocents being killed. I would know. They knew.

Do everyone know i am a werewolf if i become one? Only if they see me transform?

They won't know you killed anyone, but the Dark Brotherhood knows too much. I have transformed in front of people, and they just act like it's Tuesday and stuff, so no one cares if you get all furry in front of them until the murders happen.

Just let a werewolf or wereboar wail on you and hope not to die. I was in a castle at the time just dungeon crawling, and the first thing I saw was a werewolf. I don't have that character anymore because the quest I was given was broken. Look around for the weres, and you might find one. The game generates a lot of stuff at random.

Okay, Thanks for the reply And i have a save currently where i have a fight with a werewolf but i just keep dying or kill him, I should have been prepared and use healing potions. So i am thinking,Should i kill him and complete the quest? or keep trying? Becouse it seems like waste of time since its about 0,6% Chance for me to get the disease.

yeS I am a werewolf now,Strange.. it didnt even say i got a disease,Maybe Daggerfal doesnt work that way? anyway,When i clicked on rest until fully healed this silly cutscene showed up! x)

The game sometimes doesn't tell you immediately that you have caught something--diseases have incubation periods where they give no symptoms. Usually for Vampirism or Lycanthropy, I have to rest before I get any confirmation of anything. You've gotten the vision... so you'll soon be feeling pretty hungry
