SO when i installed MMM and everything on wrye bash and obmm I have a huge list of things related to mmm yet http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/924363-the-elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion/48544847 says that it should beFCOM_Convergence.esm

as u can see there just one MMM. ALso my fransesco a lot was added (non checked off but all active on obmm) and my MMM has a bunch and all checked off. did i do soemthing wrong is it just the way obmm added the files?

You should have a Mart's Monster Mod.esm, but there should also be an FCOM_Convergence.esm as well.

Some of the Frans optionals are usable, if you follow the installation instructions for Frans on the FCOM homepage (I'm pretty sure they haven't changed).

A lot of the MMM optionals are also fine, but start with testing a barebones build before you add the optionals.

Make sure your BSA names match the suggestions on the FCOM thread as well.


Edit: ...those would be the MMM and FraNewItem BSAs. If you used the MMM OMOD installer, that one should be fine.

I did the whole boss thing and this is what it gave me as an order. Yea LF glass armor is thrown in. kinda the first thing i downloaded. coolest mod ive seen yet.

Read this guide from front to back. You do not need to do every step, but you need to check what you did against it. That installation is full of errors. If you are using the latest BSAs, you need to see the FCOM thread period.

And secondly, BOSS is not just a mod ordering program, despite the acronym. It also provides valuable information, re: conflicts, redundancy and so on. Read the bosslog.txt that pops up after running it. Really.


edit: The bosslog.txt file can be found in the Oblivion\Data folder afterwards, so it's still there for checking out, if you close it straight after running BOSS.

Uninstall all of the FCOM components and Cobl. You need to reinstall those.

yea i need the omod for FCOM right? and i dont know about cobl. i saw it on the site said to get it for it so i did.


SHould i just start all over is it better to just continue on what i have? how f'ed up did i make this?

You should have OMODs for everything. Do not delete anything. Just follow the guide, and follow the OBMM track.

well i installed MMM. bad? and installed OOO. and sum mods work but sum need omod converters or whatever. idk. im just gonna keep reading and hope i can manage this b4 11 tongiht.

ive been reading. and damnit those are wrong too? and i dont know how to uninstall those? theres no easy uninstall. I went into the data folder and the OBMM but idk what to do.

I am telling you to uninstall all FCOM components and COBL before proceeding with that guide. In order to uninstall OMODs, double-click on them, or select them and choose 'deactivate' (bottom bar). Fran's EXE adds and uninstaller, so you can simply run that.

yea i already deactivated fcom and cobl and fixed the fcom problem with the omod i didnt have, cobl is just deactivated cuz dont know what to do with that getting rid of the other omods now, downloading the other things u wanted me to download that ur guide says. one thing at a time. im working on it.

What, exactly, is the issue with COBL? Why is it not in an OMOD? The easiest way to uninstall it would be to OMOD it, activate the OMOD, and the uninstall the OMOD. You need to uninstall that mod. Delete the plugin before you try overwriting it with OBMM, and do the deletion through OBMM. (Right-click on the plugin in the right pane, and choose 'delete'.)

idk u told me to get rid of it so i assumed i needed one of those omod converters or whatever. idk whats wrong with it but u told me to chcuk it so i did. along with mmm and ooo

Yes, it is an FCOM component... Do not just deactivate it. Uninstall it.
