Been a long time...

Salutations Fellow Gamers! My name is Takamahara (or High Heaven Plains in Japanese I believe). First time posting on any gamesas forum, yet alone forum in six years (no reliable computer in 3+ years) and it feels good. Ever since Morrowind I've been addicted to the world and lore of Nirn...though Oblivion didn't grasp my love as much until Shivering Isles expansion came out.

When Skyrim first came out, I bought it and played a heavily modded game for several months until the only laptop that could reasonably play it at all shattered into pieces. I finally ordered a ps3 legendary edition mere hours ago and will be able to play it on December 11th (my birthday) for the first time in over 30 months and have several questions regarding the expansions. I've been watching lets plays for a while so I know some things.

Dragonborn

1) Dragonborn takes place on Solstrium (love the island but hate it's name. Hard to spell correctly) involves Raven Rock etc. Aside from Raven Rock, the Skaal (one of my fav cultures) Thirsk (aiming on helping rieklings) what are some interesting references to morrowind/Oblivion?

2) Is housing available and can it be improved by furniture?

3) Any gliches or bugs?

4) Do the cultists only attack in towns, after being formally identified as the Dragonborn, and just once? If not, please explain.

Dawnguard

1) What are the pros/cons of joining a specific faction? Followers, beasts tools etc

2) Is the undead horse Arvek (or something ) better than Shadowmere?

Actually I don't know much about this expansion or Hearthfire so any tips and advice helps

Skyrim (General)

1) Can you use a spell on Constance to kill Grelod the Kind? If so is it counted as 'your' kill?

2) List of all known, or at the least most common bugs and glitches for the ps3 version

There's many other questions but this is good to start with. If there's any free guides and resources on websites please list them.

Thank you.

Re Dragonborn... yes, a house is available. However, you cannot move spouse or family into it.

The cultists attack only once, in cities.

Re Skyrim... yes, any Fury spell will cause Constance to kill Grelod. And even if you are not credited with the kill, the Innocence Lost quest still proceeds as if you did it. Ditto with having your follower do the job.

Thanks for responding. So the cultists attack once... Regarding vampires attacking cities, it happens how many times, what hours, does anyone other than pc become infected, and do they continue afterMQ

The cultists can be randomly encountered repeatedly in the wilderness while traveling if you are hoofing it. Of course, if you are the sort to fast travel everywhere you may never see them again after that first encounter.

The primary advantage of Arvak is that you summon him with a spell so he's always available and you never lose him. Once again, if you fast travel a lot this isn't an issue because for some incomprehensible reason the game has your horse fast travel with you regardless of where the horse was before your journey. As a player who prefers not to use fast travel, Arvak has proven to be quite handy to me.
