It's been two weeks! Where you at?

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 11:42 am

Okay, so it's been pretty much two weeks now in real life since we got let loose in to the Boston Commonwealth, how much time have you all spent there? Show us your stats! (No spoilers, please)

My save file says that I've spent 3 days and 11 hours - that's 83 hours! - in game, and I'm level 32. I've still got over a third of the map that I haven't even ventured in to yet, though there are a few quest markers in that space, and especially around the built-up city areas there are so many 'hollow' icons on my compass still that I need to venture in to!
I've got 7 Bobbleheads, and have just started filling my third magazine stand back at my base (I think you get 20 magazines on each rack...). I've wandered through four seperate vaults so far, including Vault 111, and have more settlements joined up to the MinuteMen than I can be bothered to count!

Also, despite conversation to the contrary, I have more adhesive stashed away at the Drive-In than I will likely ever be able to use! But still, I can't stop beelining for it whenever I see it :)

Over 100 hours. I'm level 51. I've completed the main story and I'm just exploring things. Yesterday I came across Vault 81. I feel like at least one main quest should have taken you there as it seems like a place you should be visiting a lot like Diamond City or Goodneighbour.

4 days, 8 hours and 50 minutes, and a few points shy of level 28. Barely touched the main quest, and have only completed 17 quests thus far, mostly by accident. Bottom third of the map still to explore, top 2/3rds mostly revealed. Lot of cleared locations, with 13 settlements.

My SPECIAL is currently 4/5/3/9/9/2/2, Perks are Armorer 3, Rifleman 3, Locksmith 3, Local Leader 2, Medic 1(for clinic), Gun Nut 3, Hacker 3, Scrapper 2, Science 2. Maxed relations with about a half dozen companions for bonus perks, and a couple of racks of magazines. Only 4 bobbleheads so far, waiting til I get to 10 in a couple of stats before grabbing anymore.

Spent my time exploring and building, stockpiling gear, collecting PA, crafting and turning my settlements into moneymakers. Caps and salvage are rolling in, and the roads are lined with the bodies of those who dared our defenses.

Level 39 explored a third of the map, including an adventure into the green sea. I'm a competent VATS specialist with silenced rifles as my chosen weapon. I only stick to two guns for the moment, energy rifle and a sniper rifle :)

Lvl 69, can't find any more missions! Going to start building settlements now!

Played too much, still enjoying the game. Hoping for some nice DLC soon!

I am playing as a sniper, If I was to replay, probably would play as handgun nut!

I am at level 35, mostly doing a lot of side quest before tackling the main quest. Maxed out the size of 4 settlements and population of the castle settlement. My favorite gun is my modified combat rifle and my silenced 10mm pistol, i rarely use the VATS unless fighting small enemies such as bugs. I've put in about 75 hours. I havent explored nearly enough of the map but i have done a lot of looting and defending settlements. It is very easy to get distracted with the building of settlements.

Level 54 with my first character and i have finished the mainstory. I would say he was just a prototype, i needed to know how the new system worked and what the factions/companions were like etc. Now i can make new characters with better motivations and backstories. Looking forward to it.

I'm 60 hours in, and at level 40 with my 2nd character, whom I'm trying to roleplay. I got bored with my first about 1/4 of the way into the game because I felt like he was yet another generic action hero. Current character just fixed up the castle, has completed a lot of the Rail Road quests, and is soon to return to Virgil with the Courier chip.

Vault 81 showed up on my map--I think from overheard conversation in Good Neighbor or Diamond City--for my first character, but still hasn't for my second. I think it's supposed to quietly become available shortly after arrival in Diamond City, depending on RNG.

Don't get much play time. Only level 15 or 16. Haven't progressed main quest past the conversations in Sanctuary.

I have one full set of t45. Two other sets of t45 and one set of raider2, and all three are missing their left arm :(

I'm mostly all legendary low tier armor over the minuteman outfit. Running with Justice, a lucky 10mm silenced pistol, the first laser musket, and a Hunting rifle wih plasma damage.

I wanted to craft, so I perked armored, gun nut and science as much as I could for my level. The rest was sneak, rifleman, and the first mr.sandman. I took a couple in lock pick and hacking but won't go full distance on those.

Taking a break, now that I know what happened to Shaun. Playing around with settlement crafting and searching for my perfect stronghold and trying to figure out which

Spoiler
Faction I want to side with.

My level 16 PC is working out of the Red Rocket near Sanctuary Hills. She has cleared the Raiders out of the north-west, and has met and bested Super Mutants, Gunners, Triggermen and ghouls.

Her favorite weapon is a scoped .308 pipe rifle. It is tricked out to make it a one-shot solution for most problems. She has a Combat Shotgun for close work.

She is ignoring the quests as much as possible. She is down in the Diamond City area now, exploring and taking things that don't belong to her.

I'm at the point of ridding myself of the game, so I can do anything else at all :D

I did my first ~100 hours play-through @ lvl 50, and just started on the 2nd. Taking it slower this time around as there where a LOT I didn't explore on my first play-through, and after finishing the final mission I find myself more eager to see another ending than keep exploring.

100+ hrs, L52, Main Quest finished.

Done a lot of exploring but by no means visited all areas, working on building up my settlements now and exploring what I can do with them - havent scratched the surface yet of having specialized settlements e.g. One is a farm, one is a ghoul refuge etc

I spent nineteen hours on an experimental character and got to the end of Act 2; mostly focused on the main quest to get spoilers out the way and experimenting with some of the new systems. Got to level nineteen.

I'm now on my "proper" character. Thirteen hours in, Level 14, and completed Act 1. Just joined the Brotherhood of Steel, although unsure if I'll stick with them. Some of their views are a little OTT for my tastes. Still, they've got some nice kit, and it's certainly an experience. I've spent a good amount of time building up my Red Rocket base this time too.

I'm absolutely loving my current character and I can easily see him going beyond the one-hundred hour mark.

Level 31, 29 hours in
Finished the main quest and sided with the institute and Minutemen.
I chose to be a stealth/sniper build since that's always the most fun for me.
I modified the Experiment 18-A into a sniper rifle which is now my main weapon. I also have a silenced .50 cal hunting rifle with iron sights for clearing buildings or narrow spaces silently.
I went with unarmed too and my weapon of choice is the deathclaw gauntlet. Blitz and ninja both work with unarmed, and you can even blitz from stealth which is amazing.
I wear Maxson's battlecoat and the Minutemen General outfit

58 hours, level 24.

First playthough was level 31.

Sided with the Institute, main quest finished, I tried using stealth but ended up going loud, focusing on settlement building now as well.
