Pop open the map. See that funny splotch of yellow pixels up in the top left corner? That's the micromap, an extremely zoomed out representation of the dungeon. The red pixel is your general location, and the blue pixel is that of the dungeon exit. So once the two pixels overlap each other, you should be fairly close to the exit.

I now click the exit(on my map) as soon as I enter any dungeon.

Where the heck are the royal houses? Been searching all over Daggerfall. And daaaang It's taking me long to level past 2.

If you just need to backtrack, just follow the path of open doors and dead bodies. Doors, once open, stay open. If anything leaves a corporeal body, it stays put.

A more drastic measure involves cheat mode; do you want to know that trick? :deal:

I have a simple question. I am just starting and my current problem is I can't find where to 'buy' arrows. I've just been in about five shops and clicked on every shelf and none have arrows in the lists. Am I missing something right in front of my nose?

Answered my own question - guess it is random for the next shop I walked into had some.
