Behind the Scenes of skyrim

Oooh, is that guy holding a kind of halbert (not sure of the english word) ? Prolly a daedric set just above.

I think it's "halberd"....

Either way, that is definitely someone holding a polearm in the concept art. :)

There's something that might be a werewolf or a khajiit on the wall of concepts.

that beast with the white fur looks very much like a werewolf. Nasty as well

Four devs eyeing this thread... they should give us more details! Or confirmations to stuff like polearms!

Halberd.

And I'm not sure, but it definitely looks like polearms are back.

It does look rather like a pole like weapon with a large piece of metal attached to the top.kinda looks like a over sized atgeir. Like http://media.photobucket.com/image/atgeir+/SikhKhalsa/3D%2520Modeling%2520and%2520Art/unit0k.png

I love the concept art. Honestly, it looks great. That one with the mage and the 3rd eye of something looks especially good. It looks like a wonderful workplace, too.

Seems like it has three eyes, so that would probably rule out werewolf.

There has been a couple posted already.... If you mean an official one, I want that too!

here is the link to the one in the video (it has notes written on it)

Why does it say "the greater" next to the right of the map? How many bodies of water can you make out?

Devs don't ever confirm stuff. :sadvaultboy:

Well occasionally, but usually not when release is a year away and things could still change.

next question.... Concept art for games is sometimes misleading that what is actually going to be in the game.

Anyone remember if Oblivions concept art was pretty accurate to what we actually saw?

The concept art I've seen of Oblivion looks pretty similar to the actual game.

Ah well, during FNV development, Obsidian folks talked to fans a lot, if someone had some kind of doubt or wanted someone to explain something they would always reply... :sadvaultboy:

Now you know why cookie day is so exciting for us!

As we'd say here in Spain "?que cabron!" xD

It must be simply great to work in something you love, and in that excellent work environment...

On-topic: I just simply KNEW that the first thing forumers would do is to anolyze the whole video in search for clues. I realized that when I saw the whiteboard.

Great vid... Gotta love Bethesda...

But I would have liked a little more info on Skyrim... That vid was more behind the scenes at Bethesda than it was behind the scenes of Skyrim...

The map was pretty cool though...
