I have decided to play as an "all good" character this time around. So tell me: What are the benefits of playing with this kind of reputation? (Other than the obvious quest availability, that is). :tops:

Basically, you help every good faction there is, and destroy every evil faction, OR make themselves crumble. It's pretty straightforward and exciting to see the results, but the amount of dialouge and interaction there is, is less exciting. Ergo, on the evil side, it's boring to do assignment after assignment, but the interaction and thrill of it all is what keeps you going.

Personally, im a GOOD karma-person, and I'm not seeing any issues with it .

@Pieman50: I am a former "Level 30 Devil" so I do know what you mean about the 'interaction and thrill' vs assignment after assignment. I didn't like how limited the game was to villainous players (i.e. no one to sell all my stolen goods to since I wiped out all of Goodsprings and Novak right off the bat ; Failing tons of quests for killing the main character that gives it to you ; Limited companion options ; etc). So now I'm going to see how advantageous being a saint is in this post-apocalyptic world. :angel:

And by that i mean you help House, and get the gift of immortality, because his ending is the best good ending.

I always play as a "good" character with kleptomania you just have to make sure the faction you steal from isn't the faction or person your selling the goods back to. For example when I rob all of Goodsprings I sell all the loot to Nash at Primm.

In all honesty it's hard to not come out of the game with good karma. Even playing for Caesar, I usually come out being a "good guy" there's too many things to do that give you good karma. And I personally see no advantage.

Being good gives you more experience, being evil gives you more caps.

Depends. Which major faction do you plan to be "the good guy" for? You can't be nice to all of them. At least not for the whole game. At some point you will have to pick.
