I have cured cait after i go to speak to her she is still sitting in the chair, she tells me whats she feels like, and then i cannot speak to her, and if i try and talk to anyone else i start the conversation with are you alright cait, how are you feeling? what do i do, my last saved game is ages before that.

I always keep (at least) two back-up manual saves (not counting the quicksave) going and space them about 15-20 minutes apart in sequence.

This gives me about a 30 buffer safety window...which already has saved me from having to start this game over from scratch at least four times.
