I didn't care for that one that much honestly. But most of the quests in Skyrim weren't that great for me.

I was wondering about that too. I wonder if he typed Oblivion by accident and meant to say Morrowind?

most quests - Skyrim ofc (radiant quest system)

best quests - Oblivion, loved the one where you visit a small village south of Coroll and you discover a hidden sect. The KOTN and Thieves guild quest lines were the best.

He also may be talking about Cropsford (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Cropsford), though it pretty much builds itself after you finish the associated quest.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle, so that's what that place is! I've always thought those half-finished buildings were intriguing. My characters have passed by the refugee camp too, and have even slept in the tents. But I've never, in all these years, done that quest.

This just goes to show how big these games are. You learn something new about them all the time. Thanks for that link, Saint_Jiub.

I'm surprised no ones pointed out the dark brotherhood quest lines yet. I absolutely loved it in Oblivion. Rising through the ranks was a blast and the purification... As for skyrim's, it was ok. I never became very fond of any of skyrim's guild quests minus maybe a few theives guild, those where ok.

morrowind had several quests based on the fact that you encountered someone either naked or without pants, and those are the quests i will never forget.

Never played Daggerfall so Morrowind takes the win.

oblivion's thieves guild and DB were precisely planned out. Unlike skyrim's messy factions...
The shivering isles are the best addition and crushed dawnguard+dragonborn dlc alone.

Most quests: Skyrim
Most non radient quests: Morrowind

Best designed/written quests: Oblivion

Oblivion's thieves guild alone trumps all guild questlines in Morrowind and Skyrim.

I thought the quest "Endearing Endeavors" was quiet awesome.

Working for the Gray Fox was certainly fun. Oblivion's sense of exploration completely svcked for me.. but it had fantastic quests.

Agreed. Especially the guilds. The progression was handled masterfully.

Oblivion quest, hands down, were the best quest in any TES. I swear, the Dark Brotherhood questline was the best questline I have ever played, Thieves' Guild being second to it.

the most goes to morrowind.

The best quests go to Oblivion, hands down. there aren't as many, but they leave a hell of an impression. I could list a few, but i don't want to ruin anyone's experience. the DLCs puts it over the top. if Oblivion did anything right, it was the quests.

Oblivion without a doubt had the best and most intriguing quests. With the exception of the MQ which I think is the best in the series, most of Morrowind's side quests were a whole load of boring fetch missions that were very mundane. Skyrim overall sits in between them which I feel could have had more potential.

In terms of MQ, I would say that Morrowind has by FAR the greatest storyline, and the amount of quests in Morrowind can only be dreamed of in Skyrim(except radiant quests). But Morrowind is sort of hard to play for me nowadays. Oblivions Main Quest has especially grown on me since I've played Skyrim. Skyrim's MQ is a piece of trash in my opinion. Daggerfall.. I couldn't even read English back then.

Well so far if stats are to be believed you could argue that this shows Morrowind had quantity at the expense of quality, whereas Oblivion was the reverse, quality but not enough of it.
Interesting as that seems to contradict the vociferous but small bunch of Morrowind devotees.

Replaying Skyrim, I think it has far and away the best Daedric Quests, but Oblivion easily outclasses the other two games in faction and sidequests. None of the main quests were very riveting gameplay-wise, but I find Morrowind's story and characters to be superior to the other two. It makes for a nice bit of disparity between the games.

I totally agree. Skyrim did the Daedric quests very well.

Most quests? Really don't know, I just clicked a random one D:

Best quests? Oblivion by far. The DB questline was fricking AWESOME, actually most of the side quests though I found the MQ lack of something, I don't know. Not strong enough perhaps... But why? Easy, because they make reference to great real life books I love: Whodunnit? is a clear reference to Agatha Cristie, A shadow over Hackdirt is Lovecraft wherever you put it and so.

Skyrim needs to learn a little from Oblivion's quests. They REALLY dissapointed me. Skyrim's quests were extremely short IMO, in to days I became ArchMage, Harbinger and a Nightingale. But let's give it some credit: the random encounters microquests were so immersive and good for my own RP.
