Best

FO3 Megaton getting blown up, James
FONV Beating Hoover Dam with Mr. House

Worst

FO3 Broken Steel retconning a decent ending
FONV Too many outifts don't have a good female mesh, so the girl looks too much like a guy when wearing a certain outfit. The DLC's are especially guilty of this.

Well, when I started New Vegas I went straight down the Radscorpion Gulch, a minute later I ran out laughing manically in fear of a dozen radscorpions hunting me.
That was an awesome moment.

And seeing the art design in Higgs Village Hopeville was quite awesome as well. I just walked around looking at the environment for a long time, not actually doing anything, just admiring the small details.

Now that Higgs village was in OWB was it not? and its funny you bring radscorp gulch to this, I did the same thing when i started and ran out with ede lol. Also second play through I had not been to the quarry I walked right in, 9mm in hand and was jumped by 2 baby deathclaws.. never wanted to go there again. laughed so hard. I also loved blowing up megaton just to see whats her face turn into a ghoul and run to underworld.

Fallout 3, worst moment was when I realized there were Bobbleheads and skill books all over the place. Best moment was walking out of that vault for the very first time.

Fallout New Vegas, worst moment was when I realized there were NO Bobbleheads. Best moment was at the end, having siding with NCR, listening to Cass' dialog.

Cass was cool but became even better when I realized her dad was a follower in 2.
My very 3 best moments in Fallout 3 was when I realized there was Vats ( On Second play through no less lol) Walking out of the vault for the 1st second and 3rd time (Just seemed so new and real) and also same as Granitedevil when i realized there were bobble heads.

I could be wrong, I just think it is. I just got done with OWB and I thought it was the name of a small town inside a warehouse looking building. I could be so wrong lol.

Nah I meant, I really love the art design of Hopeville, I mean, the world literally blew up into the sky and rained down on the area, cars through billboards, cement pieces stuck in a overturned truck, a metal beam piercing through a wall with a skeleton on the other side along with dried blood from when it happened.
They really put a lot of effort into the detail of LSR's first area.
OWB on the other hand was the worst moment I had in New Vegas.
80% of that DLC was horrible, damage sponges, forced humor, blue tint everywhere, ugh..

LSR's art design is the best among the DLC's.
..
Actually makes me wonder if that's why it's so linear.

Should we really be talking about Fallout 3 in the New Vegas forum? It happens all the time so why the hell not?

In New Vegas the best moment for me had to have been the realization that you could defeat the last boss with speech. I'm just so used to games propping up the final boss as a big bad ass fight that will test your skills and make you rage. And when that speech option came up while talking to him, I couldn't help but click. Even though it wasn't the standard boss fight with different rage inducing patters, I still felt satisfied when I had won.

Worst moment was my first playthrough where I ignored the sign that said "Danger" and got one-shotted (stung?) by a cazadore. Pre-patch cazadores, why you have to leave me? :(

Sorry for there being a fallout 3 post I really like it but am new to this forum thing lol. really my first real post. I did find it pretty cool you could end it with speech, also have not seen a boss battle like it.
