Since "best game" threads are getting popular, I figured I'd make a best beast race thread since it's commonly debated.

But... I like them both as races. Argonians are mysterious and loyal, and Khajiit are fun-loving and eccentric. What's there not to love about both?

Sload are giant slug things.

Imga get way too close to that "almost human" mark.

I have no idea what a Tsaesci looks like besides that they're apparently vampiric, and I don't take kindly to things that wanna drink my blood.

Ka Po Tun wanna invade Tamriel, and that's probably not a good sign.

and the Tang Mo are also way too close to that "almost human" mark.

The "almost human" thing is called the "uncanny valley".

That's why I prefer Khajiit and Argonians to the others.

The Tsaesci could go either way. Nobody knows if they physically ate the humans in Akavir, or if it was a mistranslation. Assuming that some Tsaesci have been rulers in Tamriel, I'm guessing they aren't "morally debatable". So they're probably okay.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Snakes are my all-time favorite animal. But, since you don't know what a TES snake looks like, nor a snake-man, I couldn't really choose it. For all we know it would resemble an earthworm. So I chose Argonian, as lizards are my second favorite animal. Khajiit weren't that far behind, as cats are my third.

I liked the creatures from Shivering Isles. They were imaginative and mysterious. Much better than the creatures in vanilla Oblivion.
