"While leading his squad out on patrol" Oh it would be mine, but as that is not a choice, I would go with Lyons, He led us acrossed America, set us up when we had nothing, and gave us a mission and ideals when we needed one, and brought us back from the brink with believing in the right people in the right spots. While there has been many fine Elders, Like the Maxson's, Rhombus, and too many to name off hand, I still go with Lyons. Huh? Johnson, I told you we are on recon, not search and destroy! How did you know those Ghouls were feral Initiate? That is no excuse, just because they were guarding some footlockers does not mean they were Feral grunt! Fine, Check the footlockers now that their dead, and mark the location on the mapper Knight Grant, and Johnson, I want you to start paying attention, Don't waste the ammo unless they are actually hostiles. That's Knight Sergeant John to you Grunt, now hurry up and watch for traps......

(Seriously, it is a hard choice, i would go with any of them to be honest, they are all good choices, and i am not sure which to pick.)

How should we go about this?

The one that wants to help humanity or the one who is the most powerful/charismatic or the one who follows the BOS Codex to the death?

Maxsom can shove that codex up his ***.

Mcnamara is a *****. - (Begins with P)

And Elijah is bat**** crazy.

I'll take Lyons even though I think the West Brotherhood is the best. If I need someone to lead me it be someone willing to change.

Elijah. He does he best to get the Brotherhood to thrive, without resorting to helping local simpletons.

now if the BOS had chuck norris then we might just win...unless they got bruce lee then hmmm

Bruce Lee is dead, Chuck Norris is alive. That tells us something, no? ;)
Now if said Tang Long (Lee) versus Colt (Norris), as their characters were called in the movie in which they fought in, then Tang Long would've won since he
killed Colt
But Bruce Lee never killed, or would kill, Chuck Norris... although we never know, right? Chuch Norris probably would be served a can of whopass anyways.

Sorry, totally off topic and unnecessary ;) I know what you mean.

hmmm interesting

I know, it has kind of a "cool story bro"-stamp on it B)

Proceed with the discussion.

Maxson, because he established what BoS truly is, just like the first Fallout established what Fallout is.

Lyons because he's the only one on that list who can adapt. I doubt many of those names will someday be in history books in Fallout unless my War fan fic is atleast semi canon, then Lyons will be remembered as the founder of a country.

I think it was Roger.

John was in FO1. Roger was the founder but hasn't appeared in a game.
