But im making a new charecter, and i want it to be Assassin/Thief/Archer, what's the best race for it?

Assassin? I'd recommend an Argonian. As for a Thief, Khajiit is probably best. Archer would be best as a Wood Elf I believe.

If you want a mix of all those, go with the Argonian.

If you're going to be sneak attacking though, your weapons won't be leveling quite as quickly since you'll be doing extra damage. The archery boost from wood elves puts you ahead pretty well. Also, the command animal power is the only thing that saves me from trolls and bears sometimes.

Thats a good debate. A good friend of mine is a Wood Elf, I think its a good bonus for archery.

I use a Bosmer for my archer/assassin. Argonian would also be pretty good though as well.

I made a character for the aim of joining the Dark Brotherhood, sneak was in the 60's and wearing the Dark Brotherhood armor you tended to stop using the bow as it was just as easy to sneak up and cut their throats with daggers. Cutting characters throats gets old fast graphically, so finished the Dark Brotherhood main quests got bored with it and deleted the character.


Deleted the civil war one too, after the main civil war quests after defeating the Empire, was kind of what now, came to the conclusion it's better to do the civil war ones near the end.

Now playing a pure mage, should be interesting.


As for best race for an assassin, the only thing you need to consider is the racial bonus, perks don't matter as any race can train them. Would not worry about the racial bonus just choose what you want.

I currently have a Wood Elf that utilizes that build, for perks, first get as many sneak and archery perks as possible, then go for lockpicking, and light armor last, and maybe pick pocketing if you got any perks left.

Although you could drop Light Armor completely depending on how good you are at sneaking, if you're good enough, nobody will get close enough to hit you
