Best combination of landmass mods for biggest WORLD..

imo.. a combination of TR 1+2, Solstheim, Annastia, Dulcya island, and Silgrad tower will make this game HUGE.

When Skyrim, Tamriel Rebuilt, and Province Cyrodil are all completed, the game will dwarf any, and all other games up to now and for the very distant forseeable future! That is of course, assuming that all of those projects are completed someday..

Incorrect. Daggerfall takes place in http://tamrielchronicles.com/assets/daggerfall.png. Compare with http://api.ning.com/files/uOQJGx8exF9-R6ugyp4PJYRIf92sHLi-Q7kygQ1NG98I8zKw5GXM-4sVa4b0DUyPMdO1*FW81v0Y1LHnw6hJ3nl8Yr1SpDSs/TamrielMap.jpg. Note that the combined mass of Morrowind, Cyrodil, and Skyrim is larger than that of Iliac Bay.

dont forget black marsh!

as to daggerfall being larger - so it may be to scale, but whose to say that once all those provience mods are not complete that dont have the same milage as daggerfall? So they wont be to scale, but combine thats alot of walking. Not to mention that those provenice will out do daggerfall in terms of content, detail, lore, quests, npc's, items and atmosphere.

Basically its do you think a 5 kilos of gold nugget is better than 2 kilo of gold bar?

Large in what context, I know that my morrowind as of this moment takes up 22.3 gb of space on my hard drive, and thats just my main install, has nothing to do with testing install or my default install.

Regardless, I know what you mean so I will go ahead and clarify, barring randomly generated games which lack any real detail, morrowind will be the largest game out there, of course randomly generated games can be larger, but they lack the depth provided by handcrafted games, which is why I personally prefer morrowind over daggerfall.

Just check the http://fessicsfavorites.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/map-o-mods.jpg and use all the ones that don't conflict.
The map is a bit outdated, but you can add tons of new land.

it would be good if someone could make even if its a rough layout of the entire world of elder scrolls just a flat template so that we know were to put new landmass and not interferer with existing lore land. then all we would need is compatibility patches to move mods landmass or remove parts for when TR and alike are finished. so when we look at the world map we can see the whole world. and it might make it easier for people to collaborate on constricting the proveniences if there is a general template to work from.

Uhh... hate to say it, but this is exactly what i did, and everyone said it was [censored]...

Your all forgetting Project Tamriel huh??? :P

If you don't want landmass mods to conflict with Tamriel provinces, then there are very few areas for people to place landmass mods. Infact, your pretty much left with anything as far north as Solsthiem's most northern point, and far east past Morrowind. I tell ya, its a good job we can all just make duplicates of our Morrowind directory, and copy save files about so we can test other mods and the like

We already have a million of those.

Basically it needs to be very far to the east of Vvardenfell or north of it wherever.

The Morrowind Code Patch has a patch that "zooms out" the world map to allow for people to see all of the mainland province (even though they still won't be able to until Tamriel Rebuilt is finished). We're gonna need an advanced patch when we start dealing with the entire continent, but that's still years and years away for anyone not working on these projects. Hopefully by then we'll have a new engine with a much better map system built into it, otherwise we could be looking at a very difficult to navigate in-game map due to it being so zoomed out you can hardly make out the markers.
