Best companion for Silver Shroud

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 4:48 am

Hey guys, I am almost five days of game time into fallout, and I think its about time i get around to the quest everyone says is the best one in the game.

However I was just curious what companions you brought and why, if you brought any.

I was thinking about either bringing Piper or Hancock. But Im always up for suggestions!

Obviously keep it spoiler free, i have not played it yet!

I just brought whatever companion I was building standing with at the time, think it was Nick, I do thing some of them don't like some of the best dialogue options in that quest, but don't recall which ones. Nick and Handcock didn't seem to mind one way or the other when I chose the "fun" dialogue options, not sure about the others.

As far as I know the only companion thats kinda bad to use is Strong, since he dislike the "do X as the shroud" dialogue options, which in my book is the best dialogue option throughout the quest.

Oh and there is one optional quest objective that can garner disapproval from some of the good moral companions, like piper or Nick.

Thats good to know! I am interested to see if they like or comment on any of the Shroud Dialogue, which is a main reason why id like to know a good one to bring, but if they don't, and it mostly boils down to if they like or dislike the options of the quest then i may just do it alone!

I always keep an eye out for unique dialogue and try to bring along companions who would i feel appreciate a quest the most!

Hancock has the most comments related to the quest, and some parts of the quest required him to activate, so you could skip a bunch of steps just by bring him with you.

If you like to increase affection with Piper, bring her, she LOVES when you pretend to be the shroud.

I just bring Danse because he's my favorite companion.
