To me, the real loser here is Oblivion. Surely there must be a few souls that played all three that actually prefer Oblivion....right?
I've seen one so far, saying Morrowind and Skyrim lack the feeling of Oblivion which is the best TES for that user. Well, I guess that user just thinks it differently compared to us.

Myself I liked Oblivion a lot but Skyrim and Morrowind still more. Morrowind was the first and is still the most immersive TES game for me, too, it seems. I love how OTHERS don't scale depending on how good YOU are! That makes no sense. That game was hard, even frustrating at first, but it doesn't give you everything on a silver plate. No quest arrows, no scaling enemies, heck, not even clear directions and instructions! You also have to dig NPCs and you don't just get to know everything automatically. Those elements are so close to our own world that the game doesn't bother me one bit like the newer ones! It's the most perfect video game as far as I know! A perfect mix of old-school gaming difficulty and new-school hand-holding.
