Yes no exploit at all to steal.
Downside with the last minute is the night scope who make it hard to use in bright light.
The quest also give you an 6 crank laser musket who also is an awesome sniper rifle.

Overseer guardian and spray and pay are very good and cost around 3000.

Else its up to random legendary drops. You want bleed or explosive on automatic or shotguns, extra bullet are best on everything else.

Best for high damage energy weapons are double damage against unhurt enemies.

I have an bleeding minigun, first test was against Swan who never left the pond, downside with it is the spin up time and that you basically has two DoT effects so it not best if jumped by an charging deatchclaw.

Insane against groups.

I have both the explosive and 25 plasma damage combat shotguns.

Personally, I like the plasma version much better. Though, my perks help, no doubt. With the LW perk, plus full Rifleman, this thing has a damage rating of 248 + 25 plasma.

Yep, even Mirelurk Queens drop quickly with this thing.

About the Le Fusil Terribles: this is a trophy weapon. While the extra 25% damage seems great, pretty pointless because the recoil is so terrible. Even with muzzle compensation, it's just too inaccurate to take advantage of the 25%, and this is even up close. VATS is required if the full potential is needed, and this limits the use since AP is expensive for combat shotguns.

Righteous Authority was awesome level 10 to 45 especially as a VATS ninja player. The Relentless 50 Cal Sniper was awesome too for 1 shot kills. But now I just use the Irradiated Assault Rifle fully modded. It's a lot lighter and doesn't even recoil anymore. Only gun I use now. 110 DMG + 50 RAD per bullet. It's almost as good as 2 shot and 5.58 bullets are abundant with scrounger. 5.3x bonus sneak dmg makes this rifle the only gun I need.

Le Fusil is best used for sneaky character who want to get off one big opening attack that just wrecks the enemy character. Other than that, in sustained firefights, it's pretty damn awful.

A Two Shot or Explosive or Instigating would all be more powerful. Both in sneak attacks and in room clearing without sneak.

According to the Wikia it does:

"Demolition Expert increases the damage dealt by thrown grenades, mines, explosive weapons such as the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Missile_launcher_%28Fallout_4%29 and http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fat_Man_%28Fallout_4%29 (these also stack with the Heavy Gunner Perk) and even the legendary http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Legendary_weapon_effects prefix."

My current character has no gun nut perks at all but this Explosive shotgun with demolition perks is OP as hell. I can only imagine what it would do if I had gun nut full modifications.
