If Lydia's VA wasn't so likable she'd be my top hated. Her AI is dumb as [SEHT]. She's a metaphorical purse full of bricks.

VA? Not sure what that is, but aside from her AI I don't find constant "Yes my Thane" likable, she's like dragging a mindless slave around. No character or any connection on a personal level whatsoever.

Didn't play with famous Serana too much yet, but tell me about vanilla follower whose AI doesn't svck. They all get lost and stay way behind all the time.

Kharjo is my favourite on this list, simply because he makes an excellent bodyguard, and isn't carrying enough skooma to get Alduin wasted. J'zargo is my least favourite on this list because I recently when adventuring with him, and all he does is jump in front of my fireballs. I've had to kill the Falmer in Stillborn cave about 12 times over because I had to load back...

Yay. I voted Kharjo as best follower, he's a great tank and I love his voice acting.

Serana is so freaking annoying! That constant whining about the weather and her 'who's there?!' and 'done, and done', are making my blood boil. And not to mention she resurrects everything I just killed and I'm always thinking 'omg, more bandits/draugr!' and then it's just one of her zombies. And I'm always walking around with ice spikes in my head when she tries to attack something. I've never been able to finish the Dawnguard DLC in one go because I just can't stand being around Serana for all that time.

I didnt vote because I really cant think of a worst follower. But I do like Faendal simy because his services are so valuable in the opening moments if the game, as long as you use him as a follower.

But the real best follower so depends on the player character. You need a follower that fills in the gaps in the PC's skills, so a mage follower for a melee main character and so on. My mages like Mjoll, as she's essential, rather than just protected. That means that they can fling fireballs and other AOE spolls without killing her. The sword- and axe-wielders prefer Arenea Ienith, loaded up with every staff we find. Archers and assassins may prefer to work alone.

Marcurio is Badass follower of all the follower he is effective a badass wizard

I hate Farkas the least powerful of all follower he goes to the knee in a second or two actually all companions ( faction ) are milk drinkers pussies

I'll choose Lydia as one of the best. At higher levels she can be a really good tank.

For worst, I chose Farkas. That Icebrain was so awful during the Companions he would constantly fall to his knee.

Cicero is the only follower I like. Love that guy. His love of torture and death is admirable.

I always wind up ditching them because they break stealth, get in the way, or die from me fus ruh dahing them off a cliff for repeating the same line 100 times an hour

I just noticed the poll asked which follower is badass...tbh, none except the ebony warrior (Who can only be made a follower with "Magic" ).

I voted for Marcurio. I usually make my characters as two handed jump right into the fire warriors, so i like to keep the mage around and load him up with all the staffs i collect and scrolls.

I voted for lydia as my dislike. and thats just because she wont use anything i give her. which is weird, last play thru that i used her (almost 2yrs gao) she would use the thieves guild armor. but now she only wears the hat

Hate & want to kill: J'zargo because he svcks. And Lydia, at least until I made a playthrough where I modded her face to make a look a little nicer (not prettier - nicer), and discovered that one of the later patches has given her two alternative lines to her infamous "I am swoooorn to carry your burdens", which made her a little more likeable.

It's all been quiet on the Lydia front for a couple of months.

I imagine they will be circling like sharks come teatime Sir.
