Best free game from PSN " welcome back " program

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 3:32 pm

Just wanted to know which game people thought had the most value.

The choices are:

* Dead Nation
* inFAMOUS
* LittleBigPlanet
* Super Stardust HD
* Wipeout HD + Fury

I've only played a Little Big Planet a little bit. Completely unfamiliar with the other titles. inFamous was a major release right. Are all the other "arcade" games?

Do we have a thread like this already?

Any of the Top 3, inFamous and LBP I own which I think are amazing games. inFamous would be great to pick up if you haven't played it, because the Second one is coming out.

inFamous is TONNES of fun. I'd suggest it to ANYONE.

Super Stardust and Wipeout don't appeal to me at all (racing games, yaaawwwn). inFamous is awesome, certainly worth a look if you like open-world action games like GTA, AC, or Prototype. Can't comment on Dead Nation, but it seems like it'd be an amusing but brief diversion.

I got Little Big Planet and inFAMOUS, I'm actually enjoying LBP far more than I expected to, I prefer building levels to actually playing the game though. I might have to pick up the second one soon.

inFAMOUS is pretty fun, although I doubt I'll be buying the sequel. :shrug:

Play through LBP and collect EVERYTHING. You can transfer ALL those items into LBP2 and it makes creating levels ALOT funner.

If you ever pick up LBP2 let me know, it's funner to play through and build levels with people.

I can't wait for inFamous 2.

Definitely get InFamous if you haven't played it. I ended up getting Dead Nation and Wipeout, and love both; this surprised me, as I usually don't like top down shooters or racing games. :P Of the two I would go with Dead Nation because of the coop options.

I got inFamous and its fantastic.I got a PS3 for some of its exclusives I was missing out on with the 360 and most where disappointments or just nothing mind blowing. However inFamous is far from it, there is plenty to do in the open world and I have yet to find many faults in the game.

Hey, you're flying an anti-gravity jet in Wipeout, and if you can't drive faster than the first guy, you can fire a missile at his ass :hehe:

I already had Wipeout, so i'm downloading infamous, don't know if i'll bother with the other games, just nothing else of interest in them :shrug:

...Devious, Sony <_<

I chose InFamous and LBP. I'm not a fan of either to be honest but they're the ones that looked most interesting

Ahh. I love it. People complaining about freebies.

I'm more than happy. I get some free PSP games, some free PS3 games. I got some really awesome PS3 themes, like the sonic ones which [censored] ROCK.

And some free DLCs.

I'm happy

Mario Kart, in space.

Nope, it's on earth completely :hehe: Well apart from the track suspended in the air and the simulated sessions. Fusion (PS2) had a track on the moon, though.

I would pick LBP, but I don't have a PS3. too bad because thats a pretty good deal, considering most people probably did not get hurt badly by the prerequisite events.

I looked at PS+ the first day I could and wondered why people pay for it.

Exclusivity. But screw them we get a month for free.

On topic I got LBP yesterday, that ended up being my whole day. I plan on getting inFamous as well

Uh. Probably because people whom spend upward $500-800 a year on DLC // Downloadable games on the PSN save a tonne of money overall?

InFamous and LittleBigPlanet, they're the two retail games of the two, it's really the best deal. If at all possible, you should try and use friends accounts to acquire all 5, which I did. Enough free games for me for quite a while. LBP seems to just be unlimited fun.
