Best Hold Reward you've received?

Post » Fri Jan 24, 2014 10:08 pm

The Hold rewards are leveled items, but usually they are nothing special. Sometimes you get a nice combo.

My best is the Axe of Whiterun. Ebony War Axe with +30 Shock Damage. Pretty sweet. This was at level 73, haha.

I don't know if this counts, but Ulfric gave me enchanted Daedric swords on two seperate occasions.

Balgruuf gave me an enchanted Nordic war axe.

Korir gave me an enchanted malachite greatsword.

I always get horrible rewards. I don't know if this counts but I once got a Daedric Sword of the Vampire from General Tullius.

I've gotten enchanted daedric blades from Ulfric before. Normally the rewards are lacking

I agree with bdawktwenty. Most "rewards" aren't as powerful as the weapons I enchant myself. I have several weapons much stronger than the whoosie Axe of Whiterun.

I'm impressed that the weapons actually scale that far up. That's a fairly decent weapon for becoming thane.

I usually get crummy rewards - enchanted iron axe or sword - for becoming thane. Oh, and the privilege of being allowed to purchase property in the hold.

Even at high level, for doing Siddgier's quest, I got an enchanted iron sword. I have it on a plaque in Lakeview Manor because it's pretty useless otherwise.

I did the CW at a fairly high level once, Ulfric was literally throwing glass, ebony and daedric at me :P

For becoming Thane I think I've gotten a daedric sword once but I'm not 100% sure. Defintely glass on a few occasions. Mostly steel and, for some reason, orcish.

Worst reward must ne a measly iron dagger for becoming Thane of Riften once. The enchantment was pretty good, but you see, I never use these weapons, I always put them on display in my house. And Honeyside doesn't have aany dagger display cases. An iron dagger on a weapon plaque looks just stupid...

Balgruuf gave me an ebony war axe that had a drain 30 life enchantment on it. It worked for me cause I needed that enchantment.

I've never got past level 55. :(

Hopefully I can get the gang way up to the 80s eventually...

It takes forever normally...Good thing magic is there.

I also remember getting a helmet (I think scale helmet) of waterbreathing from Balgruuf.

I really want to fight the higher level dragons. They look so damn sixy.

Even at level 30, I rarely run into a Frost Dragon. :(

The legendary dragons are so freaking fun to fight. They usually have me running like a milk drinker.

There are..ways to get to the high levels but you like to RP so I'm not so sure you'd wanna use those :x
