Love and Hate or even generic spiked knucks seemed more effective to me than the razor, pre-patch anyway. I never went in with Veronica, but I'd love to watch her clear a room with L&H while I just use a handy pool cue...

Yeah. I used my test PC, whom I have given all items, and I can play with the stats as I wish. I made sure I haven't done any quests, so he made me go through the TSA strip search/body scanner/cavity search.

Love and Hate, the unique spiked knuckles. Plus they only weigh 1lb, easy to just keep on your person at all times. Even with no skill in unarmed they help if you get into a scrap.

My favorite holdout weapon is Pew Pew. It has an insane amount of damage for a energy weapon and yeah... Pew Pew.

Mysterious Magnum with Hollow Points is the best weapon, especially if you have the Cowboy Perk.

Don't really care for holdout weapons, either I don't kill anything inside a casino or I just kill everyone.
Might use one for me assassin role later on though.

Before I had 50 sneak I went in with a straight razor and wore the 1st Recon Beret. Even though my melee skill was low I pretty much sliced up any trouble I ran into. Arms were disconnected from hostile bodies with out much trouble. After hitting 50 the Mysterious Magnum works fine. Fires quickly and takes no more than 3 shots to take care of business.

Can't say how much sneak I had the first time, but I ended up in B's room with Pew-Pew and 4 or 5 plasma grenades...

And I had much better armor, so I was flinging grenades and running around like a banshee.

Frankly, it hasn't been that much fun since that first time.

10mm pistol with all three mods installed and loaded with JHP ammo.
