So I've been looking for a husband for my Dunmer girl. He doesn't necessarily have to be a Dunmer as well.

My question is: who did your character(s) marry? Who should I choose?

I've had trouble finding a decent man in this game. My female orc hooked up with an ex-legion she met at one of the strongholds. He was a decent spouse, and could serve alongside me on my adventures, but his greeting whenever I came home became somewhat... disturbing.

But, ahem, I'd say Farkas would be my number one choice. Honestly, I can't say I'm a big fan of the male options for marriage either. (Not that I'm particularly satisfied with the female options either. Come to think of it, I'm not really satisfied with marriage at all, but I digress.)

My High Elf is looking for a hubby and a one who isn't poor (don't want to end up living in a shack!). lol Would prefer an Elf. Can one marry someone who lives in a castle? Then move in?

Pity the Thalmore Elves aren't up to marring. I have heard if one marrys a shop keeper, you get a stripend of the earnings. Unconfirmed though.

I tend to try to marry a follower, that way we can go to work together. Otherwise, I'd choose Willem at Ivarstead. He's a hottie!

After gaining the amulate, two guys ask me to marry and for fun, I said yes to both. I arranged the wedding.. I attended my wedding and they both turned up! What happened next?
It had me in stiches!
There was confusion, the guy (who was preforming the wedding) got confused and didn't know which was my to-be hubby.
The men were like,
what are you doing here?
Well, Im getting married.
No, I'M getting married!

Both men got angry at me, I broke their hearts, and both men left. LOL!

The wedding failed the first time and I had to choose. I married my long time companion, Marcurio and retired him to house duties. I was at level 8 when I paid him to follow. Im level 51 now and need someone who can keep up.

For my next companion... I can't decide! Mjoll the Lioness, Jenassa or J'zargo? What do you think? I've heard they're all really good. Im a Spellsword and archer.

My dunmer werewolf married Vilkas with the mod that actually makes him look good.

I married Camilla in Riverwood once. She gets stalked by that elf Faendal.
He'll travel all the way across Skyrim and goes into your house. Had to beat him up.

The whole marriage system is flat and broken, but it can be pretty funny.
